LOL!! I thought That they were gonna plow the ref into the glass!!!!!!!!! Hey, What are they chanting, I can't make it out. Opalsns Yep, it do get testy at times!! Depending on the play that preceeds the chanting, it could be "OZZY OZZY" in support of our goalie Chris Osgood, or it could have been a ribbing for their goalie (who is that guy lol). You also hear the occassional "LET'S GO RED WINGS" chant. Tonight though, it's at Pittsburgh, so we're sure to hear a different chorus of chants! When they chant "OZZZYY OZZZYY", they're trying to throw Ozzy off his game. You'll also likely hear a bunch of "BOOOs" coming whenever Marion Hossa (#81) touches the puck...he was a Penguin last year but decided the Red Wings had a better chance of taking the cup! BTW...Detroit and Pittsburgh met last year for the finals, this is a repeat of that showdown! Last year, we won both of the first games at home, both were shutouts! We ended up winning after 5 games of the best of 7 (if memory serves, I could be mistaken here)! This will be the first repeat win (back to back STANLEY WINNERS) since we did it back in 97-98? Again, memory could be off, but we were the last to do this and we're poised to do it again!! I've got my Red Wings flags on the back of my bike, I love the way they wave around while I ride along since it lets everyone know I am a RED WINGS FAN and supporter! BubbaBass Taught me a few things.. like.. hat trick and the red line thing or is it the blue line thing, anyway, I'm learning!!! Hockey is like... NASCAR, Football , Baseball and Basketball , all going on at th same time!!! I told Bob, "When we go, I want to sit in front of the glass to see what it looks like when the faces smear up against it. Work is crazy right now (my work involves foreclosures), and I only have a half-day today (dentist appt) so after this post, I will have to sign off for the day. I am absolutely obsessed with hockey. Yes, the Wings were the last team to repeat as Cup champs, in 97 and 98. But last year, they beat the Pens in 6 games, not 5. Interstingly, this is the first time since 1984 that the Stanley Cup Finals has the same two teams in it as the year before. In 83, the Islanders beat the Oilers for their 4th consecutive Cup. In 84, the Oilers beat the Islanders for their first of 5 Cups in 7 uears - it was the end of one dynasty and the start of another.) Take care, and good luck tonight. Those are links to the travelers follow them for examples of the various missions. The cointests can be a little tougher to sort out as sometimes there are several going on at once. Scroll until you find an initial post for the cointest or often times someone will quote enough of the OP to give you a fairly good idea of what is going on. Can anyone do a synopis of what is going on around here? And where do I find the mission ideas? In a nut shell. All the coins here start with Todie's Wild Ride and the mission then is supposed to be to spread the message of bike awareness. the Maine Family is keeping the master list and she posts it about once per page. They are clickable and you can see the missions. With the title starting all the same it is easier to keep track of them. The first post tells about the overall cointest but just disregard the dates listed. This all started when Todie Joe Phillips a close friend of Rod's and also a friend of mine was killed in a motorcycle accident last August when a truck turned in front of him and he tried to avoid it and lost control. In this thread and with all the coins released, we have been trying to spread the word about bike awareness both motorcycle and bicycle. There are some great posts of those who have found these coins. Last week one log I received said it was the thrid one they had seen in Montana in about the last month. There are cointest here all the time you just have to find the post that says cointest and start posting. I know that Getoulis has one coming up! MAN, the news lately has been SOUR SOUR SOUR...dad's cancer is spreading more and he's needing more radiation...YUK. However, a BRIGHT beam of sunshine has been shining my way, I have some AWESOME news which I am really finding hard to keep to myself (a very few of you have already been told privately lol). I will say, I'm going on a road trip (oh, wait, I already told you that lol)!!!! OK, the deep dark secret I have kept....last week, I came out of the....no, that's not it. Last week, I decided I had waited long enough and popped the.....no, not it either lol. Ok, here it is....last week, I took and passed my MOTORCYCLE ENDORSEMENT TEST, I am now a licensed rider! :P I know, I was a baaaad boy, but I did have my learner's permit all these years, never had a chance to take the test! Tod was a licensed rider, so I was legal to ride with him, but I rode more than just with him...baaaad! Well, I figured, with over 45,000 miles under my riding belt, I was ready to take the test and PASSED with flying colors!!!! Quote Link to comment

Actually I have only been abroad once in my life, in Spain, and it was a long time ago, when geocaching didn't exist!!! I have not travelled a lot in Greece too! Learning to watch for the unexpected can be a valuable tool while riding and an even more valuable tool for drivers. Autos are the cause of over 70% of all motorcycle/auto accidents when they turn left in front of the bike! If we all learn to PAY ATTENTION, we just might save a life! Those rolling stops truly are deadly, youngsters in too big a hurry to pay attention, older drivers who think they have more rights to just go whenever they want, people not thinking, people not caring! If you roll through a stop, you have a good chance of not seeing the whole picture, what you don't see can be deadly, PLEASE don't do rolling stops, make a complete (and legal) 3 second stop before proceeding when safe! We are only looking for why my nephew will be featured on pay-per-view, we know he was a wrestler both in high school and after when trying out for the Olympics!
