8) It rained and rained and rained Friday night, give me the actual rain amount in XX.XX" measurement. I know this from my weatherbug. 1.25 inches

 

YES! It rained a LOT, we were lucky to not have floated away! :blink:

Maybe you should just tell us about Saturday's 5:30 am visitors , give us all 1 free entry.

Then the cointest can end and you can focus on other things.

 

Gautolis has a cointest he wants to do. And I'm sure 1 or 2 of us can come up with a cointest to fill in.

To be honest, I was kind of thinking the same thing. I got tired of checking on this one before making a new guess, and kind of abandoned the question. If it hasn't been logged by now, there's no telling how much longer it could take.

Not Maine, but I would love to soon!! As for the cointest....It was morel hunters who said they heard we Michiganders had some great hunting locations...they were from southern Ohio and had driven all night to get there for their hunt!! I was amazed at the desire and thought they would be out of luck, then KAboom, Justin and David came back with a BUNCH!!

 

I don't think the last question was answered either....Louise became nervous and went looking for them but couldn't fnd them anywhere (they took a shortcut through the woods where they found the morels). She then called the park rangers and had a big search going on. The missing trio arrived to hear a buch of griping and then had to explain themselves both to Louise and the rangers! We were overly concerned, I shouldn't have been since I know KAboom is very responsible when it comes to things like this...but I do tend to worry a LOT at times and Louise sort of helped me get to a worried state lol!

So.... are you ready for my cointest?? :D

 

I just do not knw what to do! I have 13 questions, but all have inside smaller questions etc!

 

They are not difficult....well...one may be!! :D I am sure you know some of them already! It will have to do with me, so you will get to know me better, and about my island! :D

 

There were so many things to ask, so it was hard to choose my questions!! :D

 

Now, I have a difficulty in how to do the cointest! shall I place the 12 questions now and the winners of these 12 to go for the last and difficult one?

 

Shall I post one question at the time, and the winner will be out for the other questions so we will have 12 players for the last one??

The coin is a look twise for bikes coin, bicycle version!

My questions may be many for only one coins but iti s mostly for the fun and for learning some things for me and Rhodes!!! :) I hope it is ok! :)

 

I would love this coin to be in the race too! :) the winner will choose if I will send him the coin or if he will activate it and I will drop it in a cache here to start its travel! :)

When will you get an e-mail for FTF - Never - unfortunately the cache will be muggled - by the six lizards and not found

 

This answer is looking better all the time. This was our guess 2 -1/2 weeks ago.

 

It'll get found sometime but I bet not until it cools down out there so I will guess that the FTF email be be received on October 15, 2009 at 7:30 pm! :D

Yep, back-to-back Championship games! I've not seen this happen before, but we'll be OK for a bunch of "old-timers" lol!! Tonight at 8pm...can't wait! KAboom (who went with his "mom" :D all weekend) will be home to see this one!

i guess no one has posted a ftf for roberts cache. we have some desert caches that never get found so the owner just archives it after many months. it is getting hot, but there are still many die hard cahcers who go out in any temp. more night caching this time of year.

COINTEST TIME!!!

 

While awaiting Gatoulis' cointest, lets play this one, a bunch of questions to see who is reading my column!!

 

RULES: NO back-to-back UNLESS it's been 15 minutes!! Do not answer the same question back-to back unless it's the last question, please do not copy and paste your safety phrase which must accompany each guess! My say is final and I say HAVE FUN!!!! Pay attention too, who knows what may pop up unexpectedly!

1) Name the rivers KAboom and I have kayaked on!

 

2) What idea did we have for a cache on the last river? (?/?, how hidden, how approached etc)

 

3) how did KAboom tip over on the first river?

 

4) How many stories have I written for the column?

A 5/5 placed about 25 feet up on a large tree overhanging the river and only accesible by kayak (or canoe or other watercraft)
