pay attention, save a life!

 

Yesterday I saw something extremelly beautiful that I have never seen before!!! Late in the afternoon we saw a partridge with her babies crossing the road! There were about 10 babies!!! WOW! they were so cute!!!! At first we haven't seen them and while we were passing with our car, they came out and tried to pass the road! Thank God we had good brakes! 3 of the babies stoped in the middle of the road, socked, and they were watching us! then their mother yealled at them and they went to her! She was such a good mother! The babies were like feather balls! :D they were going lke crazy and they were "talking" with their mama! We watched them until they dissapeared in the bushes! :P

There are 3 new caches in Rhodes! I tried to find one yesterday but without success! the good thing is that I will do my first milestone (25 finds)!!! I know that the number is very small and it is not a real milestone, but....I do not know if I will ever go to 100! :P

I mean, in these caches, you have to go only at night? If you go during day??

 

...or everything has to do with the fun and the experiense?

Night caches...true night caches...are designed so that you cannot find them during daylight (not easily at least). You need a flashlight and GPS to find my night cache, it's set up with firetacks (reflectors which are often used by hunters for marking their trails) which lead you to a set of coords which then lead you on to another firetack trail and so on until the final! I wish you lived close so I could give you a tour of our cache, it's great fun!!!

Shown by Wiiwantcache. I too am a motorcycle rider and have had many close calls. People are in too much of a hurry or don't pay attention. Some of my close calls were because the driver of the truck/car were on their cell phones. Sorry for your loss. Thanks for the sharing the coin.

WOW! I wish that too! So, night caches actually say that they are night caches in their name! No caches like that here! I do not know if there is any in Greece!!! It must be a great experiense!!!

Actually I have only been abroad once in my life, in Spain, and it was a long time ago, when geocaching didn't exist!!!

 

I have not travelled a lot in Greece too! I have been only in most of Dodecanese islands and in Athens! So...

Time for my first cointest! It is a chance to know me better, to learn some things about my island and its history and have some fun!

 

My cointest is... the lucky 13 questions!

 

12 questions will be posted in 4 stages! Each stage will have 3 questions!

 

As you will see, each question will have smaller questions inside!

I did this so I can fit more things and just because the questions are easy!

Some answers may be found by searching here (I have said some of the answers in older posts of this foroum! ***HINT!!!), some by googling…

I didn’t want to make you suffer! I want everyone to have fun!

Yes, searching is included, but it is easy!

 

The winners of the 12 questions will play for the difficult 13th question!

The first who will find the correct answer and post it, will win the coin!

 

Oh! The coin is a Look twice for bikes coin, bicycle version!

I am sorry if the questions are so many, but I hope you will have fun!

 

I also hope this coin will enter in the TWR race!

You will choose if you want me to send it to you or release it here in Rhodes (you will activate it, give a goal etc!), in a cache!

Hmm.... nope! The II) question is a little tricky! :D

 

I know that the famous greek food is mousaka but the food I want is old, traditional and... humble! according to a site, it used to be the national food of greece! Wrong! It still is! When I was in the army they had it 2 times at least, per week, every week!!!!! I hated it!!! :)

Correct!!!!! :D Uckermark coin was my first find! WOW! A shaped coin as my first! It is a beautiful coin! We bacame friends with the owners and they sent me a similar coin to keep as it was my first, and some other things to start the game!!!!

 

The cache is in a beautiful place and geocaching was the reason we learned it! I will always thank YanniG (owner of the cache) for that!!!! :)
