What was with Cindy taking that little jab with his stick at the end as he was headed to the bench and the Wings were headed out to congratulate Ozzie?!? Someone needs to just hand him a box of tissues and send him on his way!!! He is a touch upset that they just can't seem to control us like they were hyped to be able to! I love those announcers, Pitt this, Pitt that....whatever! They are a good team and it's far from over, but it's tiring to have every national announcer downplay Detroit like they always do! (?/?, how hidden, how approached etc) A 5/5 placed about 25 feet up on a large tree overhanging the river and only accesible by kayak (or canoe or other watercraft) Hang up your cell phone when you drive.... I try to think of other things, but it doesn't happen and I find myself stuck on memory lane and it's not fun these days. I don't mean to bring you all down, just want you to stop and think. Embrace your loved ones, talk with your friends and just live life to it's fullest. I was upset with Tod the last day I saw him, I regret that to this second! Tod was my best friend, my brother...my strength when I was feeling the weight of the world and the world is truly heavy these days! Hugs, talk and love are free, but are sometimes hard to find... Remember, life is fleeting and could come to an end in an instant, don't end up regretting something like I am right now! When I do get upset, I also know they forgive and love me also. You have to know that Tod loves you and has forgiven everything, you also have to know in your heart that Tod would not let you beat yourself up, he would find a way to make you laugh, to bring the smiles back. He is doing that right now, through the caring supportive people you have met while trying to prevent any one else from losing such a dear friend. A bit of Tod was in each Ducky you and Kaboom found on the river and all the smiles and laughs those brought to you. so now everyone join in Rubber Ducky.. You're the one! Maine Family Posted June 1, 2009 Share Posted June 1, 2009 I actually activated mine today because I got an email from a cacher who had picked up two of the Look Twice coins I had sent out and some of the adventure guides for bicycle awareness I had sent out. He really appreciated that they were for bike awareness because he and his family was bicycling again this summer and he had issues with drivers before. Some people just don't think they should share the road with bicycles. So I wanted to remind people bicycles have the same rights as the drivers of vehicles. While I was researching today I discovered Maine is ranked #3 for friendliest state for bikers so decided to send out some more. When I first started sending them out I thought too little, too late but now when I activate something I think it is going to make a difference to someone. We can't bring Tod, or Jerry or anyone else back but by doing something positive, it is a way of honoring and remembering them. Getting some of the emails I think, how many lives have been saved, how many more people are paying attention and how many people are looking twice. Prayers for you and your family Rod. Good morning all, I hope this day finds everyone in good spirits and health! A rain day for me, so I've got the day off!! KAboom made it home safely last night, what a relief since I have serious reservations about letting him go to his mom's at all any time.
