Even though its too late, :D

I will send you my rhyme.

Just like a coin you can trade,

it will sparkle and shine.

It´s hard rhym in English,

´cause German is my language that´s why?

But just like you are gonna flyfish,

I am gonne give it a try.

High up on a mountain

that´s where you feel best.

In order to maintain

body, soul and the rest.

Too bad I can´t take part

in this contest today,

to get a piece of your art,

still hope it´s coming this way.

Congrats to the best five,

keep enjoying your price.

And thank you to tsunrisebey,

I bet the coin just looks nice.

Greetings from Germany

Tschakko :D

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.

You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.

You're on your own. And you know what you know.

You are the guy who'll decide where to go.

From there to here, and here to there,

funny things are everywhere.

I'm afraid sometimes you'll play lonely games too,

games you can't win because you'll play against you.

The more that you read, the more things you will know.

The more that you learn, the more places you'll go

And will you succeed? Yes!

You will indeed!(98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed).

And the turtles, of course... All the turtles are free

As turtles and, maybe, all creatures should be.

Congratulations Tsun to a job well done,

Now that it's over I hope that you can have some fun.

Four years of hardwork, and it is finally over,

Now it's time to play with your niece & nephew, perhaps Red Rover.

Since I am late I know I can't win,

But not posting in this cointest would have been quite a sin.

I'm sure that you will be successful in anything you do,

And you need to know that the Coin Community is very proud of you.

Congrats, Stephanie!!!

Hey - the horse has bolted, but now that we're awake on the other side of the plant I'll give it a go.

Just a line on your grad tsun. This was in a song when I graduated a while back. It's from a song called "Closer to Fine" by the Indigo Girls. But it always resonated with me on my grad.

"I spent four years prostrate to the higher mind.

Got my paper,

now I'm fine."

Now an on the fly poem about my Geocaching experinece:

A while back I got a GPS

My social life was a bit of a mess

then I I saw geocaching.com

and my social life has come along.

Tresure and goodies abound

in every cache we found;

We've started a socials trend

and met many a new friend.

Then we discovered a coin in a cache!

Well we had to give collecting a bash.

A few coins were ordered from the net,

and one or two from Forum friends we'd met.

The coins were duely set free,

to roam the caching community.

We've had so many wonderful tales,

returning from our coins on the trail.

We now relish a post from a log,

that tells of the journeys (even one about a frog!).

It's part of our families fun.

And continue to add coins one by one.

School bells ring,

For the final time.

And now Tsun

has asked for a rhyme.

Now what will she do

with the rest of her life?

Will she settle down like me,

become someone's wife?

Please make more coins

We beg! We plead!

But most of us

have all we need.

A rhyme for a turtle,

a call for 'one more'.

For these babies are special,

You can't buy in a store.

Good Luck Tsun,

in whatever you do.

For we'll be behind,

always cheering for you.

Congratulations Stephanie, and good luck with the rest of your life!

Reading over the entries now, the last valid entry was post #42 that came in just at midnight Montana time. Thanks to everyone who gave it a try, I'll announce winners in a bit. If you didn't win, no worries, I'll have another cointest without poems :D down the road.

I've thinked and I've thunked

which ones should I choose?

So many cute entries,

but some made me snooze.

I'll start from the start

and move down the list,

the post that I chose

well you'll get the jist.

Post number 7

and post number 8,

were two that I picked

I thought they were great.

Post 13 and 29

were part of the mix,

oh you lucky dogs

yours also got picked.

One more post to choose

it's so tough to do,

Instead of one more

I guess I'll choose two.

Post 32

has now made the list,

and now 34

will have made winner six.

You've done a great job

even if you ain't won,

glad this is all over

this cointest is done.

You made it!

I always knew you would.

There's a star in the making.

Look out world!

Whether on a mountain top

or in a valley low, you'll always

make it through the storm

and find a rainbow.

I had a tiny turtle

His name was tiny Tim

I put him in the bathtub

To see if he could swim

He drank up all the water

he ate up all the soap

and now he's stuck in bed

with a bubble in his throat

Bubble Bubble Bubble Bubble

Bubble Bubble

!!!!!POP!!!!

Just for fun ;)

As I sit here and try to think

Time flies by in a wink

A turtle coin is all I want

All these rhymes are a taunt

Geocoins I like to collect

And share them with respect

They are like a trinket

Who woulda think it

I am not good at contests

I always try my bests

even though I never win

I enter on a whim

So even if you pass mine by

At least I can say I gave it a try

For all I wanted was a coin to share

I played this game fair and square.

Thanks, tsun, for this little cointest.

I have to tell you it was one of the best.

Reading verses from each of the cachers was fun

And I was super excited to learn that I’d won!

A new little turtle is coming my way

And that news certainly brightened my day!

For I was one of the teachers staying up late

Grading numerous papers before the big date.

Your cointest was exactly the fun break I needed

Then back to the gradebook I finally proceeded.

It’s definitely better with the semester now done.

The big day’s almost here. Congrats again, tsun!

Congrats to all of the other winners!

Steph, enjoy your time off and good luck in your race. I'm not a runner but I definitely believe in the cause. I recently participated in the ACS Relay for Life in memory of my mom and other members of my family. Through efforts like these, great advances can be made in the fight against cancer.

Well, it looks like I am a little bit slow

I should have posted this 3 minutes ago

There will be no coin for me to keep

I will now go and cry myself to sleep

To the winners I offer a congratulation

As to you, Tsun, on your graduation

Thank you so much for this cointest

And in your life, I wish you only the best

Oops, now I see that this cointest was a month ago

I guess that I really am, very, very, very slow

But still I have had a fun little time

Coming up with my dumb and late ryme

I thank you again for this opportunity

To share my poen in our community

One day soon maybe I will host

A silly cointest, in which YOU can post

Still waiting for my blemished green buddy. *sniff *sniff* Of course, turtles do travel slowly.

You can always drop me an email to find out what's going on. However your turtle was mailed out Friday. I'm usually behind on mailing out cointests but I ran this one at a bad time because I was gone most of May. So, I've been slowly catching up on getting out cointest winnings and other obligations and that gets spendy  So I just send out a few things at a time so it isn't a big hit in the pocketbook.

I totally understand, especially with the price of gas these days! Everything else is a luxury, it seems. And I know you've been super swamped. I'm just an eager collector, that's all. Thanks, Tsun!
