You need the GreaseMonkey add-on installed, in order to use GreaseMonkey scripts. This might become obsolete when the new site becomes official (I don't recall exactly if this was included, during that brief preview we got a while back). But there's no reason to not start enjoying it now. The new script replicates the handy waypoint search box that you see on the Geocaching.com home page, to every other page on the site that has the standard left-side menu strip. (except pages that already have a search box). And it goes the home page search box one better - you can also enter Travel Bug TBxxxxx IDs, and it will take you to that Travel Bug page (note, this ID is not the same as the tracking code). Sometimes I'll be at work when KBI calls from the field asking me to look up a cache page to try and help with a tricky find. I've been using the Geocaching Quick Search (direct link) for a long time now to do what you've been doing the long way (also allows keyword searches, search by owner, etc). Create a bookmark using http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=%s as the location. Then assign a keyword to the bookmark. It should look something like this: Now, from any firefox window, to find a cache listing by waypoint you type the keyword following by the GCID in the address box. Since I use the keyword gcwp, then I would type gcwp gcxxxxx in the address box and it will take me to that listing's page. You can do the same for other searches as well. I presently use the following smart keyword bookmarks: GCKEY http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?key=%s GCZIP http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.asp...%s&dist=100 GCWP http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=%s GCHidden http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?u=%s GCFound http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?ul=%s TBName http://www.geocaching.com/track/search.aspx?k=%s TBNumber http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?tracker=%s BTW, you can use smart keywords for just about any search box. Even so I made a folder "Adds" placed it at the top of the stack and still just not the same. Thanks for the substitute but just not the same. I really liked the GM WP finder... But it's not working currently. Like that song you don't really know what you got until it's gone...They put up a parking lot... Like with catchup I'll patiently be waiting for the real thing.
