+psychoraven102 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Here is a picture for the design of my first pathtag, I'm looking for any comments, questions, or concerns, I'd like the die process to go as smoothly as possible and also I'm wanting a quality product worthy for trade. Critisism gladly accepted Quote

gridlox Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 (edited) I like it. The tribal raven is really cool! D-man PS: What font did you use for "PSYCHORAVEN102" I'm a "font-a-holic" and haven't seen that one before. Kinda cool! Edited September 23, 2007 by gridlox Quote
+Ble68 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 I love pathtags! Your design is great! Hopefully when you get them in your hands we can work out a trade!! Just wondering, what is the x between the feet? Quote
+Team FIREBOY Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Hi, Sorry to burst your bubble. We had our Pathtag with the Geocaching LOGO on it too, although it had gone into production. If you plan on producing more than 25 pathtags (and I know first order is 50) then I suggest that you get permission from Groundspeak FIRST. Read their guidelines under Logo usage. We had problems because we produced 150 Pathtags.. We really like your design though! Quote

Just wondering, what is the x between the feet? The X is for "X Marks the spot" The Idaho Geocachers LOGO is 2 Footprints with an X in the middle, For SEIGO "South Eastern Idaho Geocachers Operative" We choose the Boots (Who caches Barefoot?) and they are standing over a cache Quote

That's Why I posted the picture, don't want to be stepping on anyones toes :-) Quote
ljay Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 You should be fine using the logo as it is for a Geocaching product for personal use. I checked as i am looking to have stickers printed and the first order is 500. I haven't got as far as finalising my design tho. Happy Caching Ljay Quote
+Mr.Explorer3 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 I like it and I better be in line to get a trade. Quote
+Team FIREBOY Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 When you do get your Pathtag we would like to trade if you are willing. Ours is in the gallery, # 5380. Quote
+psychoraven102 Posted September 23, 2007 Author Posted September 23, 2007 I will be up for any and all trades!!! I have sent an email to the Logo department at Groundspeak to make sure I have permission As soon as everything is set I will be sending off the design in a week or two. I will keep you posted Quote
stvanme Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 I like you pathtag and would also be interested in a trade. I'm not an expert but I think there is too much detail in the boot prints for it to come out in a quarter size pathtag. If you use the geocaching logo it might also have to be larger. Just a thought. They may make some changes in the blueprint if you submit it as is. Quote

I will keep you posted I would be in for a trade also, my suggestion on the tag is use every bit of space. I would make the feet bigger they are going to be about the size of an "o" when it is on the tag. you have room to make it all bigger and I would mazimize to the limits. Love the design and colors:) Quote
+Pabloturtle Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 Like the design. As soon as my tag is minted I'd be to trade. Quote
+shawn_woerlein Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Like the design, but a quick question. What software did you use to create your image? I'm having troubles with Photoshop and PSP, and am trying to design one for myself. Thanks for any help you can offer. Quote
