I would really like to join in this, just getting my coin collection going pretty well and all. But unfortunatly I also do not have the funds to back my obsession. I should be getting a raise in 3 months or so, hopefully we'll still be doing cool coin ideas by then -
You're lucky in was only a few caches, in my area we had to deal with a cache maggot for over a year, every cache new or existing would come up missing only to appear in another place and sometimes we weren’t even that lucky, we never did "catch" the guy but we made many attempts, GC.com blocked several accounts that we found out he was using but it didn't stop, most caches were not member only. My suggestion would be to make the cache members only, you can see everyone who visits the page and the dates and times. I would not be so quick to point fingers, who in there right mind asks for hints to a cache they are going to steal, sounds like a genuine cacher to me, it may have been a friend with the cacher that came back at a later time, or a squirrel or possibly even a distant onlooker, who knows. A sad but realistic part of the game is maintenance

I don't quite remember my 50th cache but every cache I do makes me smile! I know how those milestones feel. Congrats! -
This sounds like alot of fun, Cachers in my area are always looking for new games. Too bad im not in the right area to hide a cache for you!

Yea, Clyde has always been good, GSAK is a lifesaver and the best Geocaching program out there, don't know what I would do without it. I've been registered to it since the first few weeks it was released and i'm still using it to this day

Wow, That does sound bad

I was sort of hoping that possibly my new geocaching tattoo would get me a charter membership... But i'm not counting on it

I'm pretty sad I'm going to be missing a few events this weekend Just can't afford it right now. And on top of that I have a few caches of my own to hide for an upcoming event im hosting in a week. Reguardless, I would be way bumed out too if I had planned on going and had to miss out, I think id take the chance I know how you feel on the car issues, I had car problems at work yesterday and luckily 2 other geocachers both work within a block of my work and get off at the same time so I caught a ride home. Isn't caching great?

Reguardless if Groundspeak changes the logo, it is still a symbol for the start of geocaching to me, It has been a huge part of my life for years now and has brought me to meet some of the greatest people I will ever encounter. The Tattoo marks a point of my life that I will never regret and will always have stories about and always remember whether or not the Logo changes. Also whether or not I continue in the sport or not.
