+The Mighty Shark
HI gang Is there anything in the rule book that stops me from changing my one and only micro cache to a regular cache. The location will move only a couple of feet so the co-ords will stay the same. The only thing that will change is the description and the hint so is it allowed? Quote Link to comment
+Simply Paul
100% yes. Just update the cache size while you're changing the hint on the 'edit cache listing' page. Piece of cake Quote Link to comment
+housefamily
I can't see a problem with it. If the cache has changed sufficiently, you might like to invite people to log it again! You're not bowing to 'anti-micro' peer pressure are you?? Quote Link to comment
+The Mighty Shark
You're not bowing to 'anti-micro' peer pressure are you?? lol not exactly. it's just that one of the last logs said that they were disappointed not to find any treasure and as it's such a beautiful spot I thought it would be so much better than the micro. +Team Balders
Surely, the co-ords will change, unless the cache is moving vertically? G Not if the centre of the new cache is where the micro was Quote Link to comment

+Woodchurch One
Do the same rules apply if you do it the other way round? Quote Link to comment
Edgemaster
Surely, the co-ords will change, unless the cache is moving vertically? Oooooerr - how accurate's your GPS???? Not accuracy in this case, precision. As quoted somewhere else, DD mm.mmm gives a maximum of 6ft precision. Quote Link to comment
+Simply Paul
Do the same rules apply if you do it the other way round? They certainly do. Long live the micro! Micros are our friends! Blessed be the micr-ooof. <sounds of me being wrestled to the floor and beaten with an ammo can> Quote Link to comment
Lactodorum
Do it!! There's nothing wrong with changing the cache size at all, as long as it's reflected on the cache page. Quote Link to comment
Deceangi
Do it!! There's nothing wrong with changing the cache size at all, as long as it's reflected on the cache page. Now that sounds like a command and not a request better comply before the man in blue comes to nick you for failing to comply with his instructions [there wouldn't be a touch of Anti Micro slipping in there would there? ] Quote Link to comment
+The Mighty Shark
Do it!! Well there you go.... I've not done your cache, but it obviously can take a regular container, so good on you for changing it. Hurrah for real caches. Quote Link to comment
+Dorsetgal & GeoDog
Hurrah for real caches. Can you define real? Quote Link to comment
Edgemaster
Hurrah for real caches. Can you define real? One with a logbook. SidAndBob is obviously mistaken, Micros are GOOD REAL caches (not excluding regulars, of course) Quote Link to comment
+The Mighty Shark
I just wanted to thank all who have replied and to let everyone know that the cache has now been updated. Quote Link to comment
