ParentsofSAM
#1. DO NOT read old threads that pop back up about geocoins that are sold out. It makes me want them, because they look great, but I can not get them. Very sad indeed. I need a coin to trade, coins have more power than $$$ here. (even sadder....I don't even have any geocoins yet, I have ordered a couple, seen some at events and talked about them. But I seem to want them all.) Quote Link to comment
+Nomad and the Librarians
Take heart, ParentsofSAM. I only have a couple coins. They are worth the wait. Learn a Carly Simon tune while you're waiting! "Anticipation, anticipation Is making me late Is keeping me waiting" When you start getting your coins and going into debt, you can learn the rest of the song: "Those were the good old days..." +Shasties
Like I used to tell my kids, "Better watch out, the Gypsy's are in town and they're paying cash for kids." Back on topic - Start like I did; buy everything that came up for sale in the forum, I bought a few things on E***y that were in my price range (cheap), and I found a few posts where folks had coins they were willing to sell rather than trade for (sort of like Overstock.com). I actually collected for about 6 weeks before I made my first trade. It a slow process that usually can't be hurried. I still haven't seen the Montana coin and it was an open thread when I started.
