Cave Troll and Eeyore
I just had a call off Moote & Mongoose asking if i could warn folks that there is a very dead cat next to Lizzardmans latest cache. They have tried ringing him (Lizzardman) but he aint answering. So please be aware as this is not a very nice sight for cachers to stumble across. Quote Link to comment
achilles1964
We live on outskirts of the Lake District, dead sheep often seem to be a feature of caching around here. We had a dead lamb near one of our caches and there was 3 of them at a cache thats not too far away from our house. Quote Link to comment
The Blorenges
Oh dear! 101 things to do with a Dead Cat No 102 - Decorate a geocache with it.... (Call up 3rd degree Witch - She knows what to do ) Mrs B Quote Link to comment
Simply Paul
3rd Degree Witch is a man! I once had a whole day of finding dead things at caches - so many that it became known as The Day of Death. Rabbits, birds, Badger... all sorts. Not the nicest thing to stumble across. +Haggis Hunter
I came across a dead rat once, it had been a pet rat and was put into a box with Reggie written on it, I nearly picked it up as it was right next to the cache several cachers nearly done the same thing for months on end Quote Link to comment

qichina
Came across this dead fish in the middle of wide open Essex countryside recently. Nearest water (pond, stream etc) in any direction was well over a mile away. No recent tornados, waterspouts either. Halloweeny weird! Quote Link to comment

Moote
Yes Mongoose and I wish to announce our new sport of GeoCatting This was our FTF on a GeoCat and how proud we were at the strong smell of success. This was a traditional GeoCat (Rapped in a container), and not a Locationless (spot a cat in the Garden and take a piccy) or Puzzle type (Have you seen this cat if so call 0161 281 7785) I will have memories of this day for ever. +Sue Gremlin
On our first day of caching we found the intact skeleton of a cat as we were combing the area for the cache. It made me jump right out of my skin, as my nose was about 3" from the ground. Yeeks! We have found numerous bones, hopefully from deer, near several caches since. Quote Link to comment

Haggis Hunter
I found this cleaned skeleton of a sheep near a cache on The Pentland Hills, it got the interest of the Big Cat Society. NOTE: The white clumps that you see lying about are it's wool, and also notice that there is no front legs. Quote Link to comment
