+harrogate hunters
I see what you mean..... as far as I can see everything has moved down !!! Before you could see most things in the visable part of the screen, now you have to scroll down ! Mostly screen revamps are an improvement.... not this time I think ! Someone must be bored ! +Stuey
There are some great improvements! My faves: PQ from a bookmark list 40 PQ's per account Date for logging stays the same as the previous log (great for logging lots of caches from pervious days) I'm happy. Quote Link to comment
+Moote
40 PQ's per account Stuy Are you sure about this, mine still says "You can create up to 20 queries. However, a maximum of 5 queries can be run each day." Edited October 17, 2005 by Moote Quote Link to comment
+Stuey
40 PQ's per account Stuey Are you sure about this? Positive..... don't any of you read the announcements? Stuey Quote Link to comment
+Moote
Updated max number of pocket queries to 40. No change on the per day pocket query creation. I think this means you can have 40 setup but still can only run up to 5 a day and no more than 20 a week. Correct me if I an wrong Milton Edited October 17, 2005 by Moote Quote Link to comment
+Stuey
Yep, but that is good for me, so I can have loads of PQ centres set up ready to run for various hot spots that I might want to go to for caching trips. I'm regularly having to delete the 20th PQ, yet I run just a few a day max. Quote Link to comment
+kbootb
Just played with the google earth options. Great fun, particularly tracking my travel bugs. Must spend more time getting to grips with the things that google earth can do. Can't wait till they upgrade my broadband to 4 Mbs though. Quote Link to comment

+The Hancock Clan
As a regular Google Earth nerd, I've just tried the new geocache feature out and am well impressed! Looking forward to being able to filter out the found ones etc... Quote Link to comment
+Simply Paul
WHERE HAS THE ARCHIVE OPTION GONE !! ?? The Archive button is still on all my caches, between Upload Images and Disable Listing, towards the top right corner. Are you sure you're logged in and looking at your own cache? Option B, You're logging a 'Should be Archived' note - and that's still there on the drop-down menu. Can you be clearer about what the problem is? SP Quote Link to comment

Option B, You're logging a 'Should be Archived' note - and that's still there on the drop-down menu. Can you be clearer about what the problem is? Previously on one's main page you could find on the right an option to see what was in the queue for approval and what you had had archived. That seems to have gone. I suppose the queue will show again if there's anything in the queue but the archive was useful to refresh me on what I might want to bring back to life. Obviously if you had recorded the GC num of the archive then you can still go to it - errr but I had relied on this and hadnt kept the GC nums. Not a big prob but it annoys me. PS news on coins?? +choccymandm
Cache Page: You must now log in before you can see coordinates for cache listings. ... and to use the "Find ... nearby caches ... " functions Personally I don't like this one, what difference does it make if you are logged in or not? ... or is it to stop other people/software poaching cache co-ords Also, if you open link within an email - a'la Notification Service - you need to login with every link you open unless you use "Remember Me", which for either the security conscious or those that may surf at work is not such a great idea! +purple_pineapple
Among the new pocket query changes in the announcement, it says the default is to run once and then uncheck itself - does this mean that we are all going to need to reactivate our weekly pocket queries? Or have I misunderstood that? Dave Quote Link to comment
The Royles
the default is to run once and then uncheck itself You can set this so it will run once and uncheck itself, run once and delete itself, or run every week. You just need to remember to set this for each query. Quote Link to comment
