+Recdiver
Is your Dad going to be with you or did you score a ride with someone else? Quote Link to comment
+AndrewRJ
It looks like my wife and I will be joinging you for the walk. I finally convinced her that since I have found all the ones except the new one that I really wouldn't be geocaching and that we could leave at any time. She thinks the tunnel sounds interesting. +Anonymous'
Had a ton of fun on this. I measured the cache and I believe it's 13inches by 5 inches but I'll try to find that information a little later. Edited October 10, 2005 by Anonymous' Quote Link to comment
+Allanon
Owie, owie, owie... The feet and knee are NOT happy with me...but the adventure was definitely worth it. It was a pleasure to meet you, Nerves, I'm just sorry we were all too sore to do any more caches on the way back down the hill. Hope to see you again someday and good luck with your next Project APE cache with the magking1971 USA Geocoin. Quote Link to comment

The tunnel closes at the end of the month and will remain closed until next Spring. There are buses to the P&R, but not to the parking lot at the pass. Quote Link to comment

There are buses to the P&R, but not to the parking lot at the pass. Now, see.. that I didn't know. Ah well, I hope it can wait till spring. The remainder of my month is going to be _very_ busy every weekend... about the only chance is a quick day trip on one day of the last weekend, but I'm not holding my breath. Quote Link to comment
+Wander Lost
You can get to the Ape cache from the other side of the tunnel. It's just not as cool as going through the tunnel. Quote Link to comment
+Allanon
With "cool" being the important word there...I was generating my own steam/mist cloud most of the way back that hung around me and didn't let me see beyond it... It was a very interesting experience, and that's a FACT! I'd do it again! Quote Link to comment
+Nerves
I'm back in New England now and just wanted to say that I had a really great time meeting all of you: Allanon, Anonymous and his dad (Tory?), Recdiver, Mtn10Bike, Andrew & his wife, and Talk2Animals. Hope I mentioned everyone - if not, I aplogize. Geocaching with all of you was alot of fun and I'm so glad we could all get together to do this. Thanks again! Quote Link to comment

+Nerves
Thank you all for the kind words. Heck, I dunno....the guy was different - what can I say? One of my thoughts was, 'does he think I'm faking it?' I know if any of you folks were there I would've been taken care of Anyway....at least I had the presence of mind to pull my torso over to where I could grab my GPRr and retrieve it. I'd really be mad if I left that behind! Quote Link to comment
+Allanon
Just my opinion, but I don't care where you are or who you are...if someone appears to be in trouble, help them...maybe approach with caution, or stand back and just call for help, but don't laugh or just offer a cig and walk off... He just pisses me off... Quote Link to comment
