+SD Rowdies Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 (edited) So I'm thinking about a Geocachers monthly-pinup screensaver. For example. Splashette - December 2007 Featuring a male or female Geocacher whether person or pet and selected from photos found on the "San Diego Banter" or "*** This Just In ***" Threads. Male or female impersonators? Sure, why not. Waddaya think? Edited November 29, 2007 by SD Rowdies Quote

Always looking for good raw material We could even have a Photoshop "shootout" with the best ones .... Seriously, it is a good idea. I'm all for it. I'll contribute (just not my own photo). Didn't I read something about a ladies garden club in England making a lot of money by posing for a calendar? Very nice rendition of Splashette by the way ... Quote

Will there be rules and prizes? Essentially we already have the first candidate, Splashette, so go for it and see what takes place in a trial run. Note the product-placement in that shot. Miragee, You always turn out to be photogenic. Must be that Patagonia line of apparel you wear. That shot seems to fit July 2008 so make sure that FisnJack hangs onto the high resolution original. Do you always carry that flag in your backpack? Edited November 30, 2007 by SD Rowdies Quote

Just set your wayback machine for October 26th, 2006 and check the "This Just In" thread... I've added your name to the list for possible San Diego County Unbunched Sock Police Poster Boy of 2006.Maybe you could do calendar... I can picture it now (and, believe me, I'm trying desperately to get this image out of my head ): SD Geocacher Bunched Sock Calendar Boys of 2007 -- 12 pages of FlagMan, FattBoy, Harmon, Trailgators, et al. in their birthday suits with bunched socks and strategically placed geocaches. It could be a fund-raiser. I know that I'd pay quite a bit to not get a copy. The idea kind of faded out after Harmon volunteered to be "Mr. December". Probably just as well... Quote

You should have seen what those Columbia pants (bought cheap from Sierra Trading Post ) looked like after the hike through all that burned vegetation.
