+Firth of Forth Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 (edited) The server often seems to be overloaded on a Sunday - too many cachers trying to log their finds at the same time! Congratulations on your 100th find! Edited October 3, 2004 by Firth of Forth Quote
+Team Ullium Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Yes well done on your hundredth find Thunderbird30 (even if you can't find a way to answer my emails ) Ullium. Quote
+Haggis Hunter Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Well D ne on you're 100th TB30. I've logged 2 finds today (I know that's not many for 1 day) I didn't have any problems logging either of them. As FoF says Sunday is a bad day for logging finds due to the amount of people logging on at the same time. Quote

Yeah it's us. We're fed up with being overtaken so I bunged some American bloke a fiver (apparently now worth about $100) and he hacked the site, stopping people logging finds!! Quote
+Teuchters Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Well done Jon & Sara.... But how about some new caches then?????? Quote
+klaus23 Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 I always write my cache find writeup in Notepad as a backup before trying to put it on the cache page. These database/sql problems are becoming all too frequent (and no, not just at the weekends), and there's also a timeout on the log, if you exceed it, your writeup is gone. Quote
+Team Maddie UK Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 Well done TB30! Yep, we have similar problems on Sunday afternoons and evenings. I also tend to use notepad to compose logs etc. Then cut and paste them in. It's certainly a good plan when you are trying to set up a new cache as that can be a little time consuming.
