markandlynn
Hi, I mentioned somewhere else that i was compiling a rough guide to paperless caching , pocket queries etc. What i need now is someone willing to read through a 18ish page PDF i have created and critically review the content and suggest or even demand improvements The guide refers to the following GSAK, Cachemate and pocket queries. It would be nice for reviews from experts and novices. But not too many people as i am on a modem connection . Ta Mark Link to comment
+carldr
Hi Mark, I would be interesting in reviewing your guide. I'm almost totally new to geocaching (just one find so far!), so I certainly qualify as a novice, although I am a bit of a techie so I am familiar with that side of things. Regards, Carl. +S&G.Davison
happy to help - we paper less cache using cachemate and as Sue has built a PQ system to hold all UK data - she can help on that front - we don't use GSAK as we use our own developed SW G&S Link to comment

What about adding a section for PPC users as well? Then it would be a complete guide to paperless caching* * OK somewhere there will be someone using a Psion or Symbian smart phone or whatever... +kbootb
I'm up for it. I have experience with ipaq/gpxsonar gsak, autoroute, garmin etrex, and can get access to Tom Tom if required. Part of my job is writing guides/manuals etc for novice teachers so I've got experience in what makes a guide useable. Link to comment
+choccymandm
I'd like to offer my help as well. Have just recently gone paperless - palm, gsak, cachemate, cachenav and garmin emap ... but no mapping software as yet so I know what it can be like to get info on how it all works! For what it's worth I write technical procedures for the IT world, as well as having an eye for proof reading Link to comment
+DomHeknows
i don't mind reviewing either - although I don't use cachemate (being ppc) i do the rest. I also write instructions and tutorials for users so know when things get too complicated. Link to comment
+striderpaul
I would be very interested in reading it, I have just bought memory map, and d/l GPXSonar to read my caches. Have also used pocket queries, and today done my first paperless cache. Would like to refine and gain more info on paperless cacheing. striderpaul west sussex Link to comment
