+Birders
It was real bad over the weekend but I suspect some weird problems with my PC some of the time. The main PC was s-l-o-w but my PDA, connected to my wireless network, was loading the pages like lightning! Quote Link to comment
Patkit
Sorry do you mean the 'my controls' menu? Quote Link to comment
+Sue and Bernie
I too have found a problem with displaying cache page photos with IE6. I can see the thumbnails at each cache page and in the gallery but the full-size pictures will not display! However, if I use my "Auction Tamer" browser (one that is specialised for eBay and other auction sites) at GC.com, everything is okay. Obviously, I have frigged IE6 somewhere but after many attempts, I cannot work out what has to be done to persuade it to display my GC.com pages normally. Anyone else had this? Quote Link to comment
+Seasider
Is anyone else having a problem loading their *my page* or is it just me! Andy. You've probably logged too many caches for it to cope! Cheers! Seasider Quote Link to comment
+Haggis Hunter
Yep I keep having problems loading my page as well, it's starting to get annoying. I know that it is a free service, but I have paid my subscription fee, so I would like to think that I can get onto the site when I want. Perhaps what it requires is for someone to log or place a cache, they have to pay the nominal fee (perhaps giving them the first 10 finds free so that they can find out if they like it or not). This would then allow GC.com enough revenue to run a larger server. Lets face it, if your going to pay in excess of £60 for a GPS, a further £17? won't break the bank. Quote Link to comment
+John NW
We're having the same problems with My Cache Page - perhaps we have logged too many too!! i can't believe Seasider saying that!!! Quote Link to comment
+Team Maddie UK
In one of the top forums GEOCACHING ANNOUNCEMENTS there is a notice saying that there would be maintenance done off and on all day today. They were putting in a new firewall this morning and upgrading the disc space this afternoon. Lynn Edited August 31, 2004 by Mady Quote Link to comment
