+Combers
I've been buying lots of cool geocache stuff recently from American Science & Surplus and came across these cool little plastic vials ... they are ~ 2 inches long by 0.25 inches in diameter, with a firmly seated, waterproof cap. They are cheap ... 25 for $2 ... and make great multi-cache containers. Check out some of the other stuff there ... they also have aluminum watertight "pill bottles". The cool thing about those is you could drop a handful of `em in the park.....nothing like empty crack vials to keep the riff raff out Quote Link to comment
+gallahad
I sometimes use those little containers that the memory chips come in. They're a bit more difficult to find but when I ask around I can usually find a couple in a friend's junk drawer. Quote Link to comment
+DocMagoo
I have used something like the Aspen Pet Identification Tube as have some others in the neighbourhood. It screws tight so no water can get in. Even when the GPSr has 7m accuracy, it makes it very difficult to find. Edited June 9, 2004 by DocMagoo Quote Link to comment
+ironman114
crack vials have to be open at each end in order to get smoke through. these clearly have only one end open and so should not be of any concern to the police. Quote Link to comment

That's a crack pipe tht you're describing. Crack is packaged a tad more cheaply at most levels however those types of vials are still popular wih regular cocaine and a few other drugs. In many areas possession of a "large" quantity of such vials could be used as probale cause for further search by a police officer. Something to think about. So's this. Quote Link to comment
+koneko
i'm looking for the smallest box possible - say, under 1.5 " wide (squared) and as flat as possible. any ideas? 'neko Quote Link to comment
Fakk 2
I just got some Liquid Ice breath mints that came in a small container, and seems water proof, I just emptied it last night and am sinking it for my first hide of a multi. It will be used to hold the coordinates, is about 1/8th inch thick. and about 1" by 3/4". Here is a pic I found of 2 lovely ladies holding a few of the containers. Liquid Ice Container or the website... Liquid or Ice Quote Link to comment

'neko Well, those little memory chip containers aren't 1.5 inches square, but they are about 1 inch square - and they're flat. Quote Link to comment

+Ed & Julie
Coming soon: Mini, super small, nano-containers. Magnifying glass, tweezers and/or microscope required. Yawn... IMHO, caching would be so much more fun if the trend was finding ways to hide bigger and larger caches. Ed Quote Link to comment

I saw those myself , when I went to PetSmart by my house- I picked up a few the cat ones were only 99cents and I will prob use them for a multi-cache with coords to the main cache..
