problem is you need to be on the internet (via a hotspot) in order to visit the site to find the hotspot

I think you would need to plan ahead. Like getting your Service Providers local access numbers for your destination before you leave on a trip.

I will not tolerate such smut... next thing you know will have celebrities flashing during the halftime show of the superbowl..... :)

we have free wireless in the city. they say it's a 3 mile radius

Unfortunately, PC Worlds list is incomplete, and lists far too many pay sites (although I should point out to my Seattle area peeps that every King County library has free wireless access).

 

I prefer to use NetStumbler.

Can you use these sites for direct connection to the remote site? For example to send a fax from your computer to a remote fax or computer at its own phone number?
