+wimseyguy
I don't get all the whining about the delays in getting a cache approved. I stashed Alexander's Ragtime Cache yesterday morning. I finally got around to sending in the report around lunchtime. When I got into work this morning and logged on it was approved! <buttkiss> Thank you Erik! <buttkiss> BTW, MEFF status is still available if you are nearby! +Renegade Knight
Cache approval times do vary. The range I've seen on my caches is anywhere from 5 minutes to about a week. But they always got to it. ===================== Wherever you go there you are. Quote Link to comment
+Web-ling
I've actually had caches approved before I finished editing the page. I created the cache, then went back to clean up the HTML, and when I went back to the cache page to see how it looked, it had already been approved. It does seem to go a lot faster if you submit them on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Quote Link to comment
+Ltljon
I've had the same results from different administrators. Usually takes just a few hours. Quote Link to comment
+Team GPSaxophone
I've never had one take longer than 24 hours. All but one have been approved by 9key. I must be doing something right, as he's never questioned any of my placements. Quote Link to comment
Cloak_N_Dagger
I don't have a huge number of caches out ....yet. Only 8 so far. But "Honeychile" has approved them with no problems. Usually in less than 24 hours. Considering the amount of prospective new caches each week, I think that's outstanding! -------------- Changing some folks mind, is like trying to herd cats. Most of my caches are approved within a few hours. I think the longest I've had to wait was about a day and a half. Swagger
A couple of weeks ago, I submitted a new cache at about 10:30am. By 1pm it was not only approved, but there were two finds logged! -- Random fortune: Quote Link to comment
+zoisrus
Does anyone know if Geocache submissions get approved on weekendsver? I didn't get around to submitting my newest cache for approval until Friday (yesterday afternoon). Hoping it might get approved sometime this weekend, but not expecting it will. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEOGeocachers/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NWPAGeocachers/ Quote Link to comment
+Crow T Robot
Yes, caches DO get approved on the weekends. However, the queue gets exceptionally busy starting Friday afternoons and it usually takes longer to get through them all. Besides, we'd rather be out all weekend caching instead of sitting at our computers! On Saturday, 5/10, at 5 PM there were nearly 100 submissions to be checked and approved. Zoisrus' latest submission was not in the queue so I suspect it has already been approved. Quote Link to comment
+TEAM 360
And I would like to thank my approver, NCFlyers, for giving the nod to both my Hogans Hotel and Emerald in the fastest time I have seen! Quote Link to comment
