I tried to send my coin off today (my apologies for doing so so late!) and I was informed I was not allowed as coins are are on the restricted list. I did send the card, but I feel awful that I was unable to send the coin. I'll look closer at the restrictions for that country and see if I can reword it on the customs form. Otherwise... I'm really not sure what I should do here.

To properly send a geocoin in the mail mark the Customs form as “GameToken”

Okay, here is where we are.  I lost my tracking info for the ones we sent out, but I do see one of our gifts arrived at its destination!  Hopefully the other is going to be delivered soon!

 

We received one of our two missions, and we are waiting until Christmas to open it!  Hooray!  Based on the name on the outside of the envelope, I assume it's the one for MikeAndJuli.  Hopefully AndKaylee's isn't far behind!

You can also just write the name of the country or the state you received the package from. Knowing that, I can see which one of your missions you got.

Hi all!  This is my first year participating in this Christmas tradition.  I'm not yet adept at doing everything correctly.  I edited my original post a couple of times, but needed to do new posts instead.  I received my wonderful gift earlier but couldn't wait to open it.  I have a December birthday so that was my excuse.  ?  Thank you for the goodies.  I mailed the gift to the person whose name was sent to me either 12/19 or 12/20/18.  The clerk assured me it would arrive by Christmas.  Thank you again for doing this.  Hope everyone enjoys their holidays.

You do have to be careful the words you use for customs.  They don't think of coins the way we do. I used medallion on my packages.  You could also say "metal disc" and cover it as well.  Good luck!
