  1. This is the nice gift from DireWolf821 from Bloomington, Illinois. There was also a bag of Beer Nuts, but those got eaten too fast, before I could take the picture. I enjoyed receiving a local product. Thank you again.
  2. I see on the pictures that some of you received the 2020 Leap Year Frog coin. Would anyone have one for trade or sale?
  3. MISSION COMPLETED Sent my info to Laval K-9: November 16, 2020Name received from Laval K-9: November 28Sent my gift: December 7My gift arrived at destination (Ontario, Canada): December 22I received a gift on December 29, 2020 from DireWolf821 from Illinois. It took 27 days to get to Hungary! I will try to post a picture tomorrow. Now it is too dark to take a good one. Thank you very much, DireWolf821. I have been tempted by Geoswag's National Park geocoin series. And it is the Grand Canyon coin! I was fortunate enough to visit the Grand Canyon many years ago, so if I could choose a coin form the series this would have been the likely candidate. Your bathtags are beautiful! I don't think I have a copper pathtag in my small collection. It looks very nice. The design on the black nickel one is very elegant. Thank you for adding the peanuts, that surely raised the shipping cost. It is so nice to get acquinted with the truly local product from your home town. I am very curious to experience its "unique sweet and salty taste", as advertised on the package, but I save it for New Year's Eve to share it with my boyfriend. Lucky, it is not far away. :-)
  4. Sent my info to Laval K-9: November 16, 2020Name received from Laval K-9: November 28Sent my gift: December 7My gift arrived at destination (Ontario, Canada): December 22I received a gift: :-( Not yet. I was hoping to get lucky this year. Just for a change. Two days ago, my neighbor tried to call me, but I missed his call. When I noticed it, it was late at night, so I could not call him back, but I got excited and fantasized about the parcel that was too large to be put in the mailbox and needed his involvement . (Mailboxes around here are really small, only suitable for regular mail). Next morning, I called him - and learned that he tried to reach me to ask whether I have happened to accept a package that he was expecting. So, we were both disappointed, but at least had a good laugh at that. Jimrky, how is Bethie_Biker? Is she recovering nicely? Be careful with your back, if your craneship is steel needed! I hope it is not.
  5. A 3rd class Santa licenced to wear a hat only?! Isn't that X rated? I love looking at all the gifts, beautiful coins and surprise presents, please, keep posting them. I hope my mission will arrive soon to its recepient, and I also hope to receive something before Christmas... Or at least this year.

  8. This does not sound expensive to me at all. Tell me, too, if you find something cheaper, and still high quality.

  10. I am sorry I am sharing my joy pretty late, but there is too much going on around me, right now. So, I was waiting and waiting for my card and coin to arrive, but it did not. At least not before Christmas. And not before New Years, either. I wonder where it was stuck, because it was mailed from MO 12 days before Christmas. I mailed mine from Hungary to Quebéc, and it got there in 8 days, which is about the norm from Hungary to North America, in my experience. So why didn't it work (again) the other way round? At the beginning of January I had to go away for a few days, and this was waiting for me when I returned. Wow! Whatever is insited, it was surely worth the wait. One layer peeled off. I expected to find a shoe box, but that is not what it was. I love shoe boxes, but I surely love this even more! Thank you for the first gift, Traveling Armadillos! Time to go further. What is in there? Everything! Way too much! Thank you very much. You should not have done this! All these gifts and all this shipping cost! I feel embarrassed. But, I like it a lot, for sure! The card is a fun one, a perfect choice for a geocacher. The hot chocolate to be made of melt real chocolate was something I always wanted to try. The PEZ is an all time favorite candy from my childhood. It was not available in Hungary only in the neighboring Yugoslavia, so getting a pack was always a highly cherished treat. Owning a dispenser was a dream. It was fun to think of that now. It took time to find the beautiful coin among all the other nice items. And the pathtag! I love your pathtag! Thank you very much.
  11. MIssion compeleted! I received A HUGE package from Missouri! I have not opened it yet, but I can hardly wait. 12. Scrabblehounds decoupaged boxes are truly amazing. I am the happy owner of one, too!
  13. Last day of hope, last day of mail before Christmas - but no coin for me. I am very disappointed, because I was really looking forward to it, placing it under the tree, opening it with great excitement, sharing my joy with my family. I participated in another mission, organized by Jeany in Germany, and I have not received anything through that either. :-( At least I can be happy that my coins have arrived safely at their destinations in both missions.

  18. I am always very disappointed when I find a proxy instead of a real coin, but I agree that some coins do disappear. But I feel that if I respect the owner enough to make an effort to move his/her coin, he/she should respect me enough by not sending just a piece of laminated paper around. When I let my coin go in the wild and it is one that I really like, I always buy two, so if it gets lost, I still have one in my collection. My experience is that coins move faster than TBs or lousy proxies. In my opinion, coins that are not very pretty are the most likely to reach their goals among all type of TBs. They are interesting enough to worth the effort of moving them, but not nice enough to keep.
  19. I received it!!! A huge box, so first I did not think it was my mission and could not imagine what it was. Then I saw the corrected zip code (I knew I made a typo in the zip code), so then it had to be it! Even though it weighed much more then a geocoin! Wasn't like Amazon sending a SSD card in a medium size box, so when one lifts the box, it nearly flies away. Maybe a huuuuge geocoin? No, TWO regular size, very nice coins and lots of wonderful, practical or simply kind surprises! Lots of amazing personal touch! Santa must know that I love boxes, so I got two very special custom decorated ones! I am very happy with those as well as everything else. Lot's of things I have never seen before, being from the other end of the world. I took pictures of the unboxing to share my happiness. I sent them to Claire, because I am not sure I know how to post them, I remember having difficulty with that in the past, and she surely is an expert, probably can post them faster than I, if she can find time to do it. I am sorry for all the expense and trouble it caused that you had to send me a mission twice. Thank you for doing it so kindly even the second time! You made me happy with the gifts, but even more with the kindnes, the special attention to details.
  20. I understand that you cannot take off the Christmas tree until we all received our missions. :-)
  21. Still nothing for me. :-( Soon I will go away for a month - so it may become my Valentine or Easter mission coin if it ever gets here.

  23. I don't know if my mission has arrived, and I don't know if I received one. ? I got a tiny, cute package from the Netherlands with no return address, but I sort of expected a coin from there. Claire, could you please tell me if I have to expect something from that country or from somewhere else? Well, tomorrow evening I will open it anyway and will know the answer.
