404 Not Found

Howdy,

 

I am getting 404 not found errors on caches.

 

The following links give them:

The list is intended to be examples and not complete.

 

Is anyone else seeing the same issue?

I've been logged out and can't log back in now :-(

API is returning errors too.

 

GC is unusable at the moment, fortunately all of today's caches are already logged.

Think I might have grabbed enough info to play tomorrow.

Can log 'em when the hamsters come back from helping out that bunny.

ditto, api isn't responding, web is 404, and the official app doesn't know what's up - search for a gc code says 'invalid gc code'

Glad it's not just me. I've been logged out on both my devices (computer and ipad), can't log back in. Can log in to the forum.

If only one of my caches gives a 404, is there some more specific error?

And should be reported to web-admin, or db-admin?

Thanks Something strange with my browser and that particular cache :/ In an other browser it is all OK! Keep caching everybody!!!

Problem seems resolved here.

 

Thanks to whoever fixed it or wrote the code that automatically fixed it.

Yesterday I got this a lot but today it seems a lot better but it is still returned by https://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC1A5DV when I try to click on the link from the map.

 

I was going to raise a case but got pointed here first.

That one works too. You might want to try CTRL-F5 to force a refresh in case your browser or ISP has the 404 page in it's cache.

May also be worth logging out clear the GC.com cookies and logging back in.

Yes. I had that problem om a DNF that I was logging when the system went down. I switched over from Chrome to MSIE, and was able to log the DNF there. Must be a cookie in the system.
