+pvtplt172
February was my worst month of geocaching since I started in December. I only had 3 caches on several attempts last month. So far March has been wicked awesome for me. I attended my first geocaching event and I am finally above the halfway mark to my 100th cache. I usually work the evening shift at work and on Sundays I get out it is dark. the area I live in has no night caches so they have to be done during the day. This Saturday into Sunday is daylight savings and we spring ahead Sundays I get out around 6:30 ish. I have also noticed some not much but some of the snow is starting to melt Spring is coming! who else is exited for daylights savings ? I know i am! Cascade Reviewer
This thread sound suspiciously like it's about geocaching, so I'm moving it to Geocaching Topics. I am so looking forward to spring. Every spring, I always have a flurry of caching days - mostly hikes around the area I live in. Gotta soak in the energy of new life and sunny days! Quote Link to comment
+Manville Possum
More daylight hours means less time to night cache. I too have became more active geocaching and Waymarking myself now that spring is near and the snakes have not thawed out yet. Quote Link to comment

I'm using geocaching to help me get in shape. They're trails around here that have geocaches and require some trekking distance. I'll most assuredly only be wearing shorts and a white T-shirt in the summer. Along with lots of water. Edited March 11, 2014 by Kingmaster74 Quote Link to comment
+DonB
As far as I'm concerned the whole thing is a pain, set it one way or the other and leave it there. Quote Link to comment
Coast Guard Kiteman
THANK GOD FOR DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME!!! If we NEVER switch back to STANDARD TIME, it will be MUCH TOO SOON.... Edited March 12, 2014 by Coast Guard Kiteman Quote Link to comment
+terrkan78
Once I get past the inescapable two weeks from hell surrounding spring time change, then it might be good. Right now, it's still way too difficult getting up in the morning to register anything but vehement hatred toward time change. Quote Link to comment

Unlike last year when we had days and weeks of 40C (killed our budgies). This summer it rarely got over 30C. Daylight saving finishing soon too. Quote Link to comment
