Watching my fantasy team go down in flames this week (again) we decided we need to have a cointest. Listen to all these so called experts tell us which team should win and by how much, and they seem to be wrong. No one predicted 59 points by the Oakland Raiders this week, no one picked them to win. No one picked the New Orleans Saints to lose this last week.

 

So :

 

For week 8 - we want you to pick the team that will score the most points and the team that will score the least points.

 

Example to win for week 7 you would have picked the Oakland Raiders (most) - 59 points and the Arizona Cardinals (least) 10 points.

 

We understand that there could be more than one team tied for the most or least points so tiebreaker is total points by each team - week 7 - 69 total points.

 

Second tiebreaker will be the first person to post the correct answer for the week.

 

There is the potential no one will be correct in which case we will extend the cointest or change it.

 

One guess per week - must be in 1 hour prior to first game of the week/ 12 noon (eastern) Sunday 10/31/10. No edits.

If you go by stats for the 2010 season

 

Tennessee Titans have the highest average points per game at 28.4 and Carolina Panthers have the least at 12.5 so the total would be 41 points.

 

If you go by our local paper they predict Detroit Lions and New England Patriots would have the most at 27 points and Minnesota Vikings the least at 7 (34 total points) this does not include the monday night game.

 

Our prediction - Indianapolis Cost most and Jacksonville Jaguars (least) 52 points.

Going into the monday night game we have one cointestant that could get the highest scoring team right and noone came close on the lowest scoring team.

 

We will have the same cointest for week 9.

 

Predictions can be made as soon as the monday night game is over and other rules still apply.

 

If no winners in week 9 we will change the category and see how people do.
