DannyCaffeine Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Ok first of all I am not planning on doing this. Second I want to know if it has already been done. Would it be wrong to magetize a micro to the inside bottom of a lamp skirt? So when you lift it up to get the cache your lifting it up and don't know where it is because its on the inside of the metal skirt and not just chilling with the bolts? Quote
+USMCGecko Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 I found some like that, they werent magnetic but they were stuck there by other means. Quote
Motorcycle_Mama Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Some lamp post skirts are made from aluminum. Quote
+edscott Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Do what you want.. it's still a lamp post micro. Quote
+Isonzo Karst Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 It's definitely been done. To death. Over and over. Yep, mr magneto on the underside of ferrous lamp skirt. Quote
jholly Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 Some lamp post skirts are made from aluminum. True, but you just have to use an aluminum magnet. Quote
+simpjkee Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 (edited) I've found some like that. I think cachers put them like that to be creative and sneaky, but the caches always tend to slowly move to the bolt area. A lot of lamp post covers in AZ are made of plastic. Edited May 16, 2010 by simpjkee Quote
+Chokecherry Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 The question shouldn't be would it be evil. The questions should be, "Is this going to be an enjoyable cache for someone to spend time on and find? Am I offering them a unique and special caching experience with what I'm about to hide?" Quote
