+Hollys Hikers Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 (edited) Just a quick note to pass on the sad news that Holly from Hollys Hikers passed away on Monday night. She always had great fun out caching and was known to find the odd box or two herself. Her memory will continue as we both want to keep Hollys Hikers as our team name. While the memories of Holly will always be with you, I always tell people to keep an open mind about bringing another friend into your home. They also gave me a suncatcher which hangs in the corner of the room where she slept. I still talk to her, however, here is the poem; Is the pleasure worth the pain? Yes, I say, and yes again, But when fate decrees we part, Oh! the agony of a broken heart Moulting hair and muddy paws, Chewed up slippers, paint stratched doors, Walkies in the pouring rain, Is the pleasure worth the pain?
