Most found Caches?

One of the caches I have found and is now on my watchlist has been found aproximately 400 times GC4E4B and I started to wonder what are the caches that have been found the most times? I did a quick forum search and can not find any previous topics answering this question. Just curious?? Does someone keep a bookmarked list of them?

The "best" answer to this "most" question would be from a Groundspeak lackey, IF they have a tool to search the entire database and tally all the find counts on all the caches.

 

I can at least speculate on a local answer. Based on second hand account, GC30CB, "Sounds of the Bay" in San Francisco has been found more than most caches in the area.

In the Chicago area the highest found regular cache is Navy Pier Micro with 381 finds.

 

For a virtual, the leader with 496 finds would be Cloud Gate aka The Bean

I have one with 254 finds in 3.5 years

One of my caches, GCB42D, has 819 finds - it was placed on 12/12/02

(with 54 notes, 12 DNFs, & 5 maintenance logs) = 890 logs

 

Another of my caches, GCHWHH, has 515 finds - it was placed on 3/14/04

(with 14 notes, 20 DNFs, & 10 maintenance logs) = 559 logs

I seem to remember a thread like this several months ago. If I remember correctly there was a cache in Tennessee that set the record. I do know that

 

I know Grand High Pobah's cacherstats.com utilizes logs from the most found caches. That might be a resource to help answer the question.

Going to Gatlinburg GCB42D (Tennessee) has 894 finds.

 

Sounds of the Bay(San Francisco) has somewhere around 650.

Two virtual caches by the same hider have the most finds I'm aware of Capitol View and Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom (Orlando FL) has slightly more finds than Capitol View. There were locationless with more finds than these.

Well, Gatlinberg (GCB42D) has 1167 finds now, don't think any actual (not virtual) cache can beat this

Sunday Drive has been found 344 times in less than a year. But over 200 finds were during GW5 as it is pretty close to the event site and an easy find.

 

My RDU TB Hotel cache just passed 5 years of operations, and has 655 finds (maybe 654 ), but is regularly revisited by locals who enjoy the ease of its location for TB movement. It has over 1100 visits counting finds+notes.
