+tucson twosome
I've been working on this one for a little while and now would like to get some feedback from the ceocaching community.. The areas in white on both sides will ultimately be nickel, bronze, and/or black nickel. I'm also hoping that this is a uique design for I don't have a whole lot of experience with geocoins yet. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. -Aaron Quote Link to comment
princeshoko
I kind of like it. Interesting shape too. Quote Link to comment
+TMOCM
I like it, if you're interested in trading personal coins once they're minted, email me. Quote Link to comment
+MustangJoni
I like it. I do find the date a little hard to read. If you mint it, I'd love to trade with you. Quote Link to comment
+AtlantaGal
I think it's very nice. I'd like to trade with you if you have them made. My only suggestion is to have the mint work with a non-italics font and have a font that is a little thicker so it stands out against the ink. Quote Link to comment

My only suggestion is to have the mint work with a non-italics font and have a font that is a little thicker so it stands out against the ink. Or just eliminate the wording entirely, except for the "Tucson Twosome" on the Saquaro cactus. That should stay, of course. I like this design: simple, clean, reflective of the Arizona desert, especially around Tucson (been too many years since we got down that way; have always enjoyed it ). I think it's got "legs". We'll certainly be interested in buying a few, if and when. Quote Link to comment

Agreed. Nice clean design - I think it looks good. It obvisouly represents the two of you and your area. Quote Link to comment
ParentsofSAM
Nice but I agree with MustangJoni the date is a bit hard to read. I would definitely love to trade personals with you when you get it made. Quote Link to comment
+Dr. Whoever
I'd definately purchase 2 or more. Send me the info when these are ready. Quote Link to comment
+Rattlingcrew
I would be glad to buy or trade for a pair. A nice clean design. Glen Quote Link to comment
Not So Lost Puppies
I like it, very clean design. My suggestion on the lettering would be to just not have it curving around the bends, maybe put "is our" on the horizontal as well as "since" leaving the other words vertical. Quote Link to comment
+tucson twosome
Wow! Thanks everybody for all of the positive feedback. I've taken what I think is the essence of the suggestions and modified the design. The lettering should be easier to read now. Let me know if you think the changes are an improvement. Thanks again for the helpful feedback. -Aaron Quote Link to comment
+Ryder3 & Better Half
MUCH better! Clean design, a truely nice looking coin! Count us in for a few! Quote Link to comment

Thanks again for the helpful feedback. -Aaron Looks good. be careful about thick/thin fonts, they tend to come out illegible at small sizes on the coin. I prefered the cursive type because it had more character (maybe a bold version of it). I also liked the type being wavy (once again it added character) rather than the stair step. Cool Idea and shape. Quote Link to comment
+chaosmanor
I can see it both ways on the font. This is going to be an area where each of us has a good idea, but you can only pick one of them. Fiddle around with it a little. Reduce the size of any design down to what a coin would be, and see if it works. Experiment. I don't think that the font is going to be a "deal breaker" for anyone interested in it. Whatever you come up with is going to be OK for most of us; maybe not *our* optimal*, but still good. The basic idea is what attracts us That being said, I think I liked the original font for your handle Quote Link to comment
Not So Lost Puppies
I think I like the orginal font better, particularly for your ID, but do think the new layout is easier to read. Maybe your ID in the base coin metal, not color filled. You might think of the outer border being a high point in the metal and having the text sunk in and then filled, instead of raised letter outlines and then color filled. Quote Link to comment

+Cog&Gil
Do you mean caching since 2005? Hope you produce this geocoin. Hope you don't put most of them in your many puzzle caches. Love to trade for our Cog&Gil personal AZ geocoin. Quote Link to comment
+Dr. Whoever
Excellent design, but does it say 12/27/2006??? Shouldn't that be 2005?? Quote Link to comment
