+IV_Warrior
N38° 53.813' W77° 2.166' That's reasonably close. It's within "The White House National Park" according to Delorme Street Atlas. Link to comment
+KoosKoos
From www.geocode.com Decimal Degrees Deg:Min:Sec Lat: 38.898648 Lon:-077.037692 and converted: 38° 53.911 -77° 02.280 I think either these coords or IV's will get you reasonably close...and you should be able to find it from there. +LetterDude
1. Find address on Google 2. Enter address into Google Maps (actually, in this case you can just enter "White House") 3. Zoom in and switch to satellite view 4. Double click on the spot you want the coordinates for 5. Click on "Link to this page" 6. Copy the coordinates from the URL in the address bar For example, 38.896112,-77.036559 for the sidewalk in front of the White House. Link to comment

+Harry Dolphin
Benchmark HV8006 is located at N 38° 53.833 W 077° 02.167. A rivet on the second pillar north of the White House. But, they wouldn't let me go looking for it. Link to comment
