This extension does on-the-fly text conversions right on the web page. It does ROT13, URL encoding, base conversions, Morse Code translations, DES encryption/decryption, text reversal, and more. And if you want a stand-alone (windows) hint decoder, I'd suggest Encryptix. It understands the [plaintext bracketing] using on geocaching, and also the encode schemes of other sites. Most of the time I don't see the page til it's in my Pda, and I use Mobipocket so there's no chance of seeing the hint accidentally - but sometimes I do look at cache pages online and I wouldn't want it automatically decrypted, or posted without encryption.
