Just got a new laptop with vista on it, don't have any problems with my garmin. I haven't tried to sync the palm yet though. can anyone tell me what sort of problems I may face?

It would either be a Joint FTF or it would go to cacher #1.

Doesn't really seem like all that great of a deal to me. I did a quick search on google and was able to find the 60csx selling for around $260.00. AlsoTopo maps that come with the bundle are the older version. The 2008 Version is currently selling for $59.10 on Amazon. So unless you really want to pay about $70.00 for a case I wouldn't go for that deal.

Don't forget to check ebay, I am always seeing etrex legends selling for under $100. I bought one brand new for only $120 less then a year ago.

Sorry to hear about your GPSr getting damaged, I had something similiar happen to me. Well actually my dog ate the antenna off of mine thought I was going to have to buy a new unit, but I contacted Garmin and it turns out they will repair it for a flat rate fee. I beleive it is $175.00 or something along those lines. You can find more information here
