+scaw
This might be a bit of a dumb question................... is there a way of checking caches that have been logged locally that day without scrolling through pages of them hope that makes sense Quote Link to comment
Remote Part
You can do a search on GeocacheUK for this. Go to http://stats.geocacheuk.com/caches/ then enter somewhere for "near" and 1 day or similar for "last found". Note that G:UK takes time to update, so it might not completely match up with the logs on geocaching.com. Quote Link to comment
lakeuk
Don't think there is an easier way, I just select email notification on the local ones I'm most interested in. At http://www.geocacheuk.com/ you can view 25 caches per page but it can take upto 3 days for the last found details to come through Quote Link to comment
+Moote
This might be a bit of a dumb question................... is there a way of checking caches that have been logged locally that day without scrolling through pages of them hope that makes sense Information Appears that everyone is G:UK obsessed, but for the most up to date stats on cache find dates is geocaching.com. Choose a cache in the area which you want the data on, once on the cache page click the link: ...all nearby caches And returned is a list of caches from the centre cache, the last column is the Last Found this is where you can find out the information required without the datalag of G:UK It is fare to say that you will have to browse the data, as there is no Query for found on a particular date, but it is the most accurate dataset you can have as this is the source data. +kbootb
I have a PQ set up that shows any cache that is within 50 miles of home that has been found in the last seven days. I never get it to download but view it on line by clicking preview. This then gives me a quick way of seeing who has been caching in my area in the last week. Quote Link to comment

+The Bolas Heathens
We do exactly the same - it's really handy. I use a similar design for FTF opportunities - any unfound caches within X radius. It is set as my home page, so every time I open IE, I can instantly check (Useful when away from home PC therefore no instant notifies...) Quote Link to comment
+Alibags
I have had a similar PQ set up for some time. I do like to go back and browse who's being doing my previous caches recently. I suppose it's just me being nosey! Quote Link to comment
