+nfa
Hi, I've been holding off until I had news that pointed towards completion of the project... I got some good news today in the form of pictures of proofs... The delay is due to the first manufacturer doing a poor job of reproducing the photographic image on the front, and refusing to rework it after two misses. The coin company over here who I have been working with, then took the design to another manufacturer, who has produced these proofs. I assume that the coin will ship in a couple of weeks, and as soon as I get it, I will send it out to people who bought or traded for them. If you have questions about anything, including the NFA Personal Geocoin, special education, or small-scale quail husbandry, drop me a line... Jamie Quote Link to comment

Jamie I must have missed the original message. Are these coins still available for sale or trade? Quote Link to comment
+rojeel
Nice Coin I hope I got some of each. If I didn't, can I? I know I ordered some, just not sure which ones. Quote Link to comment

+nfa
Which maker did the bad job? Let me clarify...the coin maker that I dealt with has been the same throughout the entire process...it was the first coin mint or manufacturer (who actually physically produces the coins) that proved unsatisfactory. After I rejected numerous proofs from the first mint, the coin maker took their business and design to another mint, which produced the proofs you see above. I hope that is more clear...I do not know the name of the overseas mint which did a (in my opinion) poor job of servicing me as a customer. Jamie ps - I want to wait until I have received the coins, and shipped out all previous sales and trades before booking other trades and such...I will post a new thread at that time...this thread was just to inform the patient folks who made arrangements with me earlier...and to show off because I think it looks cool! +nfa
Here are some pics of the coins that I took this afternoon...excuse my photographic skills (or lack thereof)... Bronze (250 made) Nickel (100 made) Silver (25 made) Gold (25 made) I've got a trading list in my signature below, if anyone is interested in trades...I sold some of the bronze coins, but none of the other metals.
