Kelsborrow Wayfinders
After the request/nagging on this forum to set up another meeting I have spoken to the Mill in Chester and come to the conclusion that November 22nd is the best date. However, I wonder whether this is now slightly superfluous because of Mancunian Pyrocacher's brand new self-proclaimed hijacking event cache at the same venue in January. If anyone is still interested could they post a note here so I can gauge interest. If people don't want to bother with this and just come to Dave's event instead I fully understand. As with the previous two meetings this is just a chance for a chat, some decent beer and a chance for everyone to solve Pieman's latest puzzle. Quote Link to comment

Brenin Tegeingl
Hey Chas your not getting out of organising one of your Non events that easy . There's a whole 2 months between your chosen date and mine. Besides I need a few (oh alright a lot of clues, read accurate coordinates for a few caches ). So count Nette and I as extremely interested . I'll post the list of caches I need the clues (coordinates) for later Dave Quote Link to comment

Skippy and Pingu
Not knowing what you have/haven't worked out so far doesn't help, but I guess Pieman won't kill me if I say that there are 2 parts of the text that are linked to each other and that then allows you to work out the answer. Still stuck? Send us an email and I'll have a look tonight (Can't access that email account from here!) Quote Link to comment
Kelsborrow Wayfinders
Can I suggest that people bring along their GPS to the meeting so that we can stick them on the table so other cachers can recognise us. I know of at least one cacher who turned up last time and failed to spot us and went home. Quote Link to comment
bargee
The amount of Travel bugs on the tables that gave you all away the first time i went to the Mill, i couldn't think of any other reason that a group of adults would be passing the toys around unless it was a collectors convention maybe we should bring some leaves and sticks and hide under them, then we might be found i'll get my coat Quote Link to comment
Skippy and Pingu
Only if they're parallel piles of sticks!!! Quote Link to comment

HazelS
lol... not a problem.... I'll get in touch with you!! Might not be staying all night though... I'm off to a conference next day - need my beauty sleep!! Quote Link to comment
Skippy and Pingu
For us who aren't giving you a lift could you tell us the best place to park please? Last time it was a complete nightmare finding a parking space. Quote Link to comment
Kelsborrow Wayfinders
Yes it can be tricky. I would have thought that Brook Street or City Road would be the best option for street parking. There is always Gorse Stacks car park although you may not fancy the (slightly) longer walk. You would be guaranteed a parking place there even if it is bingo night. Quote Link to comment
Kelsborrow Wayfinders
Today's the day. Don't forget to drop off TB's in Clock Watching and bring your GPS to stick on the table for easy spotability. Quote Link to comment
Pieman
Thanks for another good event, Chas. Quote Link to comment
Skippy and Pingu
Thanks for another good event, Chas. Or Non event (Whichever it should be from non-icon points of view!!) It was fun, nice to catch up with everyone and compare hints on some of Piemans caches!!! Quote Link to comment
bargee
Yeah thanks Chas, good to see you all Quote Link to comment
Kelsborrow Wayfinders
Thanks but I should point out that by definition a non-event involves non-organising (just a phone call) as well as non-icons so I can't really take any credit over it. It was a good evening though. Quote Link to comment
ac-p
Thanks Chas, and nice to see everyone! Quote Link to comment
