+Theseus
Not a complaint, just an observation - caches I found on April 3 have checkmarks, no subsequent finds have checkmarks. I know from past experience that the checkmark machine sometimes needs a swift kick. Thanks, PTB. Link to comment
+GeoHuff
Noticed this as well. This has to be my pet peeve about the site. Link to comment
+Theseus
Almost a month now (though I realize they've had bigger fish to fry). Reason for re-post - does anyone else have checkmarks in the past few weeks? Perhaps it is a more localized problem than I suspected. Thanks. Link to comment
uperdooper
just checked and all the caches i've done in the last 3 weeks have a check mark. that's about 10 caches. mid-michigan here. Link to comment

+shunra
Got all mine, up to the ones I logged last night. Seattle area. For me, the break is on April 12th. Nothing since. Also Seattle area. For me too, this is my biggest complaint about the site's functionality. Link to comment
+AndrewRJ
I know I have at least one that has needed its checkmark since April 19th now Link to comment
+Cyclops
I found a few caches on April 14. Half of those caches will show up as having the red check mark on the maps the other half do not. Since the 14th no other (close to 50) caches that I've found are being displayed with the red check mark. Has anyone seen this before? Link to comment
Keystone
I merged together two threads about the same issue, and I added a topic subtitle to the original thread in order to make it clearer what was being discussed. Link to comment
Jeremy
We've been testing the new database response time this week. I started an update to the checkmarks today. Hopefully by the end of the day all of them will be complete. Link to comment
+Cyclops
Saw Jeremy's post and went to check the maps. The maps will not display. The page displays but the map area does not. Perhaps the server is to busy. Link to comment
Keystone
Hello, Elias was busy changing the cedar chips in the cage where the map server hamsters live. Try again and see if the happier hamsters aren't rendering better maps for you. Link to comment
+planetrobert
actually cedar chips can kill hamsters, you need pine chips Link to comment

Jeremy
The map server crapped out during the process so the checkmarks stopped updating. I started them up again this morning. Link to comment

+AndrewRJ
Jeremy Thank you for all your responces. I know I am not the only one happy to know someone is cracking the whips over the hampster cages, and telling us about it. Link to comment
Jeremy
All of the files have generated. If yours did not I'll need to know about it. Link to comment

+AndrewRJ
Ok I just went and cleared out all my cookies and temp internet files and then loged back in and checked. I have not had an update on the found checks since and including 4-16-05. Link to comment

Jeremy
andrewrj - it will take me a while to investigate this further. I'll let you know when I find out what's going on. It is working for (almost) everyone else now. Link to comment

+naffita
All I have is blue and green boxes, no check marks at all. Edit a few minutes later, I think I am talking about a different map. Edited May 11, 2005 by naffita Link to comment
+beejay&esskay
None of the caches I've found on 5/13 or later have check marks showing on the "Groundspeak - Cache Maps". Can I assume that a two-week delay means there is some problem? Link to comment
