I give up. Do 'bison tubes' have another name? They have to, right? I know you can get them online, but do any stores sell them? I'd prefer to have mine the day I order it, and without the S&H. Where do you get yours?

I haven't seen them in a store, so I'm not sure if there is another name for them.

 

I got one from Sissy-n-CR's online store. It came two days later. I know you wanted one same day, but that is pretty fast.

REI has them with the keychains by the front counter (in the REI by me anyway) ...

 

But you're going to pay more at retail than you will online, so the cost is going to be a push ... but you will get your instant gratification.

 

Also similar containers; screw top metal containers can often be found at drug stores as 'pill holders'

I have seen these in several small hiking/outdoor outfitters. There's bound to be one in your town (and it doesn't hurt to suppor the local guy once in a while).

You should find them in a drug store but Sissy-n-CR's are neater looking.

I bought twelve of them from ebay. A search for geocaching should help you find them. Not sure what C&R charges.

I have bought similar items at the local pet store. They are meant to be put onto dog collars for when they get lost. They are even smaller than the bison tube and can make for a challenging find. Most pet stores around here have them for $1 - $3 each.

I have seen them at both Pets-mart and Walgreens. Walgreens had three different sizes. A small necklace that holds two Nitro pills $4.99 and a larger version about 2 inches long by 3/8 round $4.99 and a 3 inch long by 1/2 round $5.99.

As others have said, we sell them on our personal site. Just follow the link in our sig. Get the order over $10 and the shipping is included. Being in NC and us in SC you should get your order in a couple of days as we ship regular mail and they are usually pretty quick.

 

Now, custom engraving or for items that aren't in stock it will take a bit longer, but Sissy is usually all over an order when it comes in and it goes back out in the next mail.

You can buy them, oddly enough, at Bison Designs - $2 for the small ones, $4 for large, various colors, and they ship quickly. Also many other cool items in their catalog.

 

Or, this eBay seller offers 10 small stainless capsules for $25 - and they're pretty nice.
