+Gonzo-YT
I had an unusual hunt today. While searching for the Black Gold Cache, I stumbled across some real gold! Regards, Anthony Quote Link to comment
+Divine
Whoa, that's really cool! The more people geocache, the more these kind of unexpected finds will occur. Drugs, money, stolen stuff etc. Congrats on the find! I found and ancient piggy bank stash some time ago. Quote Link to comment
+Milbank
Gonzo-YT, What did you do with it? Edited to add: read your log, cool find. Edited February 10, 2005 by Milbank Quote Link to comment

+Beta Test
Did you ever find out where the watches came from? Stolen yeah, but by who and where and how long did it take them to accumulate that much? Quote Link to comment
+Ed & Julie
ACK! You left it behind?!?!? Quote Link to comment
+Couparangus
The only *valuables* I seem to find are abandoned (probably stolen) cars. In the area of my GC4A7 I counted 7. The most recent of which has been removed. 1975 Thunderbird 1976 Aspen 1970 Bug 1973 full-size Pontiac 1977 Capri 1984 Oldsmobile and one indeterminate! Cheers! C-A Quote Link to comment
+Gonzo-YT
That was exactly as we found it. Some of the stuff was bagged up with price tags on it, while others were just loose. I would expect that the theives had taken the really valuable stuff out and then just dumped the rest, but who knows. We didn't have a backpack or anything, and we were on skis so carrying the stuff was out of the question. We were fairly close to a residential street, so we just plunked it down near the side of the road (behind a post) and called the police to come and get it. They weren't too keen... Wanted us to go pick it up and bring it in. But, after a couple of hours an officer called the house and was on his way to pick it up. He didn't call back, so I assume that he found it. +BilboB
You should have logged the coordinates and turned it into a cache. Take something, leave nothing. Quote Link to comment
[MTB]_Intrepid
Geez, more ugly jewellery in that picture than a late 70's disco. Quote Link to comment
