JavaDuck
Hi all! Saturday is my birthday!! I would love to do a few hours of caching to celebrate my birthday and the New Year. I'm in Federal Way and was thinking about just picking up the closest ones to home to me. I would be up to visiting caches I have already found and let others search. Open to any other suggestions as well. The ones on my nearest to home for me are: Take a Swag at It Have you hugged a muggle today? Auntie Hills Lakeview The old tree Centurian Martian Probe 003 Centurian Martian Probe 11 I was thinking about starting at 11am (I and many others would probably like to sleep in a bit after being up late celebrating) We could meet at the parking coordinates to my own cache, A Dicey Hunt at 11 and go from there. If you're interested or have any ideas, just post a message here. Happy New Year and have a great 2005! Quote Link to comment
LandRover
Sounds like fun. I still have a few caches in FW left to find. A Dicey Hunt Bulk Mail Ravine Rave Cache at Pooh Corner - The Rehide (DNFed) The Heart of the Buzz Draining the Power of the Buzz The Times they are a Changin' (close to FW, I think) I am at currently at 90 finds and would like to 100 to start the New Year off. I am also willing to go along for the ride on a few that I have already found. Quote Link to comment
JavaDuck
LandRover! Dicey Hunt is my own cache, so can help out if needed. Have found most on your list, but would not mind tagging along as you find those. I'm open to any caches, just want to spend some of the day enjoying one of my hobbies! Quote Link to comment
WeightMan
Depending on a number of things, I might just join you on this. I have no clue on your puzzle though. Those are the kind that drive me nuts. The Times They Are A'Changin is one of mine and itis actually closer to Kent, but not that far away. The listed coords are the middle of Lake Fenwick, but the cache is a bit north of that. You will need to do a little work on that one before you go out looking. Quote Link to comment
LandRover
I think I have figured out both "dicey hunt" and "times they are a changin". We could compare notes on Saturday and go from there. I have also been itching to get over to GRCC as there are 4 or 5 caches there. Quote Link to comment
Prying Pandora
We can't make it, but wish you a happy birthday, Javaduck. Quote Link to comment
JavaDuck
I'll be at the coordinates listed on my A Dicey Hunt Page tomorrow morning at 11am. Looking forward to seeing anyone that wants to join in. Happy New Year! JavaDuck! Quote Link to comment
Allanon
Happy B-Day JD, but I think I'll be hiding my first cache (and maybe second) instead of traveling too far tomorrow... Have a great day, though, and I hope to see you up this way sometime. Quote Link to comment
Shop99er
Hey JD. Happy Birthday!! While we would like to join you, I think we may be working on a cache of ours that is in need of an overhaul. Hope you have a great birthday. Quote Link to comment
romulusnr
Hey, I'll join you. I need to knock about half of those in your list off my nearest. Plan to see yall tomorrow at 11. Rom Quote Link to comment
NomadRaven
I've got a busy weekend ahead of me (2005 is shaping up to be busy already!), but I'd love to tag along for a couple of the caches I haven't done and to say happy b-day. Happy new year! Quote Link to comment
nancois
Hey Steve! You know I would have gone with you but I'm still stuck way out here on the "frozen tundra" (Chicago). I hope you're having a great birthday/New Year. Quote Link to comment
WeightMan
I had a great time with the other cachers today. Since I had not done any of the caches before I wound up with the most finds for the day. We looked for nine caches and found eight. Even the bushwhack at Old Tree was fun. Quote Link to comment
LandRover
Thanks JavaDuck for letting us help celebrate your B-day. Had a great time caching with you and the others, sorry leading the group down the wrong trail and the bushwack. Quote Link to comment
JavaDuck
Thanks to Weightman, Landrover, NomadRaven, Romulusnr, and Ethan for a great day of caching. I had a great birthday. It was fun to see people search for caches that I had already found. Look forward to seeing the group at the Gig Harbor Cache machine. Happy New Yeat to ya all! To NLS, thanks for the message! I know you would have joined us! I hope your search for the BOBs has gone well! Quote Link to comment
romulusnr
I nearly thought we were gonna have to camp for the night in Dash Point. After all that trudging and then the bushwhacking (how far was that anyway? 300 ft? More?) I wasn't sure I was gonna make it back! Happy Birthday, JavaDuck. Quote Link to comment

Yeah, "The Old Tree" was the cache that I've gotten the most lost on. You can really get turned around back in there. Quote Link to comment
NomadRaven
Hehe, I just don't understand it. I've never been lost in the Dash Point trails, and I've been there completely by myself. And yet I have a knack for getting hopelessly turned around in Kent or Tacoma. I guess we're all just differently-abled. I had a blast hanging out with you guys! Quote Link to comment
