+opey one
Boy, I never thought I would run into this situation.... I ordered three micro cache keychains from the GC.com store. One silver, one black and one green. Oh how I loved them (what little time I had to see them)! Just as quick as I pulled them from the box, all three were snagged up and were immediately claimed! Guess I have to order some more They are really nice, indeed. The uses for these little jewels are endless, as long as I can keep some for myself. I need to borrow some money to buy more. Anyone??? +TheNomad
Here in the Orlando area, I've been hiding similar ones that have been dubbed "Nano-caches" for about six months or so. You can get 'em for $1 each. Just load this page and search for DT03050. For shock value, I created a log with 24 lines that fits into the smaller inner pill container. It's worked so well that I've never had any soaked-log problems. Quote Link to comment

CoyoteRed
I see they now have an aluminum capsule as well. They are smaller than the small bison tube by a fair amount. I've got a few of the stainless capules with the vial inside. Planning on some letterboxes with these as I can adhere the stamp to the bottom of the vial. Works great! Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Bison Designs Keychain Capsule. It seems that REI only sells the small. If you want the large you can order directly fromBison Designs website. The large capsule is $4, but I think that's still cheaper tha GC.COM's version. Quote Link to comment

If you take the o-ring off and spray it with a shot of Armor All they stay soft a long time. Quote Link to comment

GeoWorms
Don't forget to order some NdFeB magnets to help hide those micros. Someone from the forums pointed these out, and they work great! (Disclaimer--I'm not affiliated with them, just a satisfied customer) Quote Link to comment
+greengecko
Don't forget to order some NdFeB magnets to help hide those micros. Another good source is GAUSSBOYS Their Neodymium magnet selection is outstanding! If you need a hole in the magnet, buy a magnet with a hole. They are very brittle and if you try to drill a hole it gets ugly! I have found J-B Weld the best for attaching magnets to metal containers. It's always good to scuff the surfaces with some sandpaper first.
