+Erawan
Like the start of some other ideas.... HEY, HOW ABOUT THIS? I have been thinking of having a Geocaching shirt, jacket, or pullover made that has a large TB (like on the tag) put on it. This would have a couple effects: 1. Advertise this hobby 2. Enable myself to be logged as basically a locationless TB 3. Feed my ego I thought of just useing one of my TBs while I do my wandering, but having a tag hanging around my neck would probably make me 3 / 5 on the difficulty scale. Seeing me but not knowing I am a host unless you see me straight on, and finding me on this planet in the first place. This would probably have to be an individual item as it would probably wear out from use, or wear out from outsizing. The number should come off a normal TB as it probably wouldn't be feasible for Groundspeak to make them for sale because of the individual identification of the tag. What do ya think? +hedberg
Think twice before you do it - if you are married... Then can your wife keep track of you and see how have logged you and when and where.. Quote Link to comment
colonelby
Thanks! You,ve given me an idea! Why not have a hat or something that you can take with you to every cache with ease! Look for the >My Hat Travel Bug< in the near futur! However, some people will most likely raise the question: "Is it safe to wear?" Because if it really has passed head to head...who knows! What do you think? colonelby Quote Link to comment
+Erawan
Hat looks like a good idea. I usually don't wear one 'cept when weather is cruddy. BUT....it makes good sense to do it while cacheing. I believe there is a geocaching hat already being sold, just not as a TB. ERAWAN Quote Link to comment
+JeeperDad
Here is an Ugly Tie TB that was made into a TB. If you find it you got to wear it. The Ugly tie came from a cache that was a game to have geocachers leave their ugliest tie. The TB owner won, and took his winning tie and made it a TB to share the pain. Quote Link to comment
+Go JayBee
I think that Groundspeak already has a shirt with a bogus TB Number on it. Are you thinking of an actual real number on a T-Shirt...... That would be very cool........... That my story, and I'm gonna stick with it........ JayBee Quote Link to comment

We had a TB which went MIA so after quite a while we made a TB sheet to stick in the window of our car. If anyone sees us around they can log a note on the travelbug page. One person has found us so far! Sarah -- Quote Link to comment
+Jamie Z
We have made our car into a sort of locationless travelbug. Hmm... I wonder how hard it would be to get a personalized tag that reads TBC4D1. I have an idea. Jamie Quote Link to comment
+DomHeknows
isn't the point of geocaching to be discreet? I've actually got a geocaching.com sticker in the back of the car and was thinking of getting something like an iron-on transfer for my caching jacket Quote Link to comment
+bob393
I love the fact that I advertise Geocaching! I have the three foot glass clinger in my cache-mobile back window, I talk about it all the time. I would love a TB hat, I would even trade it if someone saw me in the mall or on the street! +Go JayBee
How about a VW Beetle with the Travel Bug Logo painted on it? Quote Link to comment
+Erawan
Some real good ideas. I think I will use the copy of a TB that was STOLEN (the best way to put it), and I have since put in a TB graveyard. That way I can still use the number, just have it recalculated I guess. Maybe get a TB shirt and permenant marker the number in it also. There is a wear out problem with most my clothes. Maybe I should have more than 2 shirts Erawan Quote Link to comment
