Pantalaimon
So, I've read a couple articles about the 10 year update of Merriam-Webster. I've read about new words such as "McJob" and "brewski" and "dead-cat bounce" being added to that esteemed tome... but no "geocache" or "geocaching" or even "Markwell." (FYI: That last one was a joke.) What does it take to get some recognition around here? I think a larger population of the planet uses the word "geocache" on a regular basis, than the word "McJob." Guess we're going to have to keep things alive around here until 2013 in order to get some definition recognition. Just my half-cent. Pan "The internet to tell me where. A GPS to get me there." +Renegade Knight
I've used the term McEngineering to describe what Civil Engineers do. Never even heard of McJob. I'd have to agree with Geocaching. But then if it took 20 years for Brewski to make it we have about 18 to go. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
What's a brewski? A Polish beer? "Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day" - Dave Barry Quote Link to comment

+Bill D (wwh)
I know McJob, brewski rings a faint bell somewhere, but whatever is dead-cat bounce? Jomarac5
Perhaps it's not in Webster's because someone owns the trademark rights to 'geocache' and 'geocaching'? ***** Quote Link to comment
