Popular Post +tbbiker Posted April 24 Popular Post Share Posted April 24 (edited) It's time to let it go. What I am referring to is the "Great Story" and "helpful" tabs at the end of the logs. NO ONE is using them. I can randomly scroll down the logs of any cache and I have yet to see one of those tabs checked. It is a useless feature that is ignored. What it does do it take up more space in the logs so it takes longer to scroll through them. Kudos to HQ for trying something new. It didn't work out as expected which is OK. Own up to it and just remove them. It's not the end of the world... A log of "TFTC" is not a "Great Story", nor is it "Helpful" Maybe cachers need to start writing "Great Stories" and "Helpful" logs? I appreciate when someone takes time to write an interesting log (which can only have as many as two sentences but they're about _something_) BTW: one of the GC little helper options is to hide the "Great story", "Helpful" and "Order by" elements. +bruzie Posted April 29 Share Posted April 29 It would possibly get more use if they were exposed more, even if it's just a notification that someone liked your log. Stats (including badges - shock, horror!) for gaining those storytelling/helpful points, etc. As it stands they're even more of an afterthought than Ad Lab reviews - at least you get a notification now. I see the tags clicked now and again. Want great stories? Place great caches.
