+Cyclops Posted April 15, 2023 Posted April 15, 2023 (edited) I've been noticing this for a few months at least. The images I'm posting show the progress better then I can perhaps describe it. Basically a Pocket Query I run (shows events for just seven days) returns ten caches. I'll click the "You can preview the search here." link to get the "Running Pocket Query:" page which shows ten caches as did the previous page. On the "Running Pocket Query:" page, I'll click the "Map this Location" link to get the map. The map only shows six caches. I've seen this with other Pocket Queries that I have run with small returns. It could be happening on Pocket Queries that return larger number of returns, I just don't notice it. +BoomerBuckeyes Posted April 29, 2023 Posted April 29, 2023 I have a similar issue. When I "map this selection" for any of my pocket queries, I get a map of my home location. I works fine with Firefox but not IE. 1 Quote
+Mikos88 Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 Yes, same issue in Firefox as BoomerBuckeyes. Pretty annoying, since I make a lot of PQ's when I'm not home and want to visit different directions. Now I have to guess if a certain area will be included in the PQ. Can this be fixed, please? Quote
+Goldenwattle Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 This is very annoying. I can't tell that the query covers the caches I want. This needs fixing ASAP. 1 Quote
Keystone Posted May 12, 2023 Posted May 12, 2023 The above post was originally a separate topic in a different forum section. I merged it into this active discussion in the correct forum section. 1 Quote

I see my home location map for a half second, then it's replaced by the correct Pocket Query map. It has gone to the correct map in the length of time required to load the home location map. Seems to improve when mapping additional Pocket Queries. Next I tried it with IE in Windows. The home location map displays for almost 2 seconds, then is replaced by the correct map. It's not staying in the home location map, it's transitory. My interweb connection often loads very slowly on any site for some reason, so I can't tell if the map issue is new, or if that's how the maps always work. I didn't test the OP's question. +Shilo Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 This issue must have returned. When I click Map Preview from the PQ page, It opens a map but never leaves my home area. Quote

+Muddy Woodies Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 I've had the same issue for some time now - all our pocket queries will not show the correct map, just the standard one (as in 'Play' > View Browse Map), centred on our home location. As such, for months now, I've been effectively working blind and have to guess the extents to which a query centred a location, will run to. Using Microsoft Edge and Windows 10 (Windows 11 not an option without a new PC, thanks to Microsoft) 1 Quote
+Mikos88 Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 This issue still persists, in both Chrome and Firefox. My last post in May was using Firefox in Windows 8, I'm now using Windows 11. Cookies have been removed, multiple times. And also after waiting for over a minute, just in case the map would reload to the location of the PQ. But it never does. Had any technician already looked at this after 6 months? Quote
