Earth sandwich completed!

Recommended Posts

My daughter had a idea to make a earth sandwich geocache. One slice of bread on this side of the earth and another exact match on the other side of earth. After much looking for someone to help us out we posted it here and TwoDrews was awesome at helping us out. We know it is not a exact match to the other side of the earth as that would be the ocean but if you filled a sandwich with as much filling as the earth we are sure it would be more of a sub type sandwich and not completely flat. Some here had asked to keep them updated if we got it made.

Not only did we get it made we have had 2 complete it! This last one was extra special as gruffpuppy a cacher from Australia had came onto our local facebook page to ask about any cool must get caches in the area. I didn't even think of this one first but did eventually and realized the Australia half was only about 20 miles from him. He quickly went to go get that and then today found the half here in San Francisco. It was really cool for us and they seemed to really enjoy it as well! Here is the great pic that gruffpuppy was really cool in making!
