hozz
Ok, so. I did some caching several years ago and went dormant. I'll begin caching again as of tomorrow with a new friends of mine. She has one she's been hunting for since last October with no luck, and I'm determined to find this puppy. My questions/problem is this: The sole clue to this cache hinges on the understanding of the words "oompah loompah" as used in the geocaching community. I've not run across this before, couldn't find any explanation in the forums, nothing in a web search. What in the world are you guys talking about with your oompah loompah stuff?! Thanks in advance! +Beach_hut
Never heard of it. It's not a reference to height is it? Quote Link to comment

The hint and several of the posts in the bottom reference "oompah loompahs", but I cannot discern a context. I'm stumped, Lol. Quote Link to comment
+Great Scott!
Is there a chocolate river & falls nearby? If not, I have no idea. Quote Link to comment
+T.D.M.22
One oompha loompa should be able to find this but it might take four. I guess it depends on how athletic oompha loompas are. It's up high. Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
And lets give spoilers out in the forums... In the UK, there's a saying "Oompah Loompah, stick it up your jumper" Quote Link to comment

Quote from the cache page: Don’t ask for hints, and if you find this please don’t give any. In accordance with the CO's wishes, I suggest that this subject be dropped. Quote Link to comment
+T.D.M.22
I have another idea-Judging by the name and the picture one would assume it's in the shelter. It's a micro cache with the difficulty rating 5 out of 5. Not exactly something you would expect to find, not having found any other caches. Quote Link to comment
+keylev
Its rated 5 for difficulty and therefore is intended to be difficult to find.... as the page says its not about the number its about the bragging rights... go again and search EVERYWHERE... read the logs and look at the pictures. The only thing not to do is ask for help as per the CO's request... Quote Link to comment

Also, the thingy we read said that it was actually "oompah oompah", like the sound a tuba makes. Edited April 19, 2014 by Ambrosia Quote Link to comment
+The_Incredibles_
This is easy. Oompah Loompahs are creatures that work in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Watch the movie or read the book. Quote Link to comment

The rest of England and the UK may have had different words...heck, for a small area we have a big language if you can call it that! Quote Link to comment
+popokiiti
Back on topic - as Mrs Incredible said, the Oompah Loompahs appear in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Try what she suggested, and remember your good fiend Google! Quote Link to comment
