+Logscaler and Red Posted December 11, 2002 Posted December 11, 2002 Is it just me or did I miss something somewhere along the line? It seems as there is no last edit tag on the forum postings now. Or am I just not seeing a function somewhere. I even tried it here.
Elias Posted December 11, 2002 Posted December 11, 2002 The forums give you a grace period of about 10-15 minutes (I'm not exactly sure what the time is) where you can edit your post as much as you want to make sure it looks and reads the way you like. After that grace period, any edits will include the last edit tag. -Elias

Is there any chance of extending the scope of that grace period to let it permit deleting your own messages, like when you accidentally hit the ENTER key? See my posts in this thread for an example. Thanks.
umc Posted December 11, 2002 Posted December 11, 2002 I was wondering the same thing then I realized I wasn't logged in. Did you check that? ______________________________________________________________________________________ So far so good, somewhat new owner of a second/new Garmin GPS V 20 plus finds so far with little to no problem. +Logscaler and Red Posted December 11, 2002 Author Posted December 11, 2002 Elias tou lackey you. Thanks for the information. I thought something might have snuck by me, again, still, as normal. logscaler.
+mtn-man Posted December 12, 2002 Posted December 12, 2002 The grace period is set by Infopop and cannot be adjusted in the board's administration area. I have looked for that in the past in our GGA Infopop Board administrators area and have not found any way to do that.
+Team GeoDillo Posted December 12, 2002 Posted December 12, 2002 Can we get that 10-15 minute grace period for cache logs too? Scott of Team GeoDillo
