+Ean369
At a halloween event, I was talking to some other cachers, and one one said to me and my sometimes caching buddy, that we did not look like cachers, I'm not sure what a cacher looks like, so just for a bit of fun, could you let me know, and I'll see If I come into any of your ideas of what a cacher looks like. +FantasyRaider
Very interesting this one, if only because I'm curious what a 'cacher' feels they look like? I have also had the comment that I 'Don't look like a cacher' but then .... I have never met two cachers the same. I will leave my 'description' till others reply as i don't want anyone picking on me! Quote Link to comment

+The Frosties!
I think cachers look like lost ramblers Often dressed the part, but wandering round in circles looking at their gps Quote Link to comment

Since starting this "free" hobby I've spent £20 on membership and load more on hiking boots, walking pole, gaiters, fleece and raincoat, backpack etc..., looking more like a rambler each day I even bought an OS map this week! +FYI_Geocaching
When I'm caching, I don't look like anything or anybody, as I blend invisibly into the background Quote Link to comment
+zarbi&zarbibird
We've also been told we don't look like cachers because we carry rucksacs and binoculars! We don't care because then we don't look too suspicious when hunting around in the countryside.....maybe. However, we probably look a little bit odd when we're caching in towns Quote Link to comment

The first clue is the telltale criss-cross pattern of cuts and scratches on the lower legs and forearms Quote Link to comment
+Gushoneybun
I always look like me I don't have a set look, I cache in a suit, jeans, walking trousers etc. It really depends on what else I am doing that day and what terrain I am expecting to find whilst out. Quote Link to comment
+MartyBartfast
I cache in a suit, jeans, walking trousers etc. Doesn't it get a bit warm wearing all that stuff? Quote Link to comment
+Just Roger
When caching near roads, as opposed to in woods of fields, I don't look like anything, I am totally invisible as I wear my invisibility cloak - AKA Yellow jacket, hard hat and clipboard. Quote Link to comment
+thehoomer
Top Tip: To identify normal people from cachers, simply carry a small lock 'n lock in your pocket and snap one of the tabs down. Watch in amusement as the cachers reveal themselves by spinning round, eyes bulging, to get a fix on the location of the sound. This also works with sausage roll wrappers. Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
I think cachers look like lost ramblers Often dressed the part, but wandering round in circles looking at their gps I cache wearing a 'collar and tie' if I'm working taking a break, whilst working... Got to set 'standards' haven't we! Edited December 4, 2011 by Bear and Ragged Quote Link to comment
