How do I get this?

Hi all, im only 5 GC's in and I love this site... so im about to make my first cache this weekend

 

I had a quick google image at some of the caches and found most of them have this green sticker

How do I go about printing one off? Does anyone have a link to the template so I can print one off for my box?

I dont want to buy one, I want to print one off.............. If no one has a template I will make one............. If I do would it be worth me uploading it for people to use? or is this against the TOS

The only issue would be the logo usage. You can read about the rules for it here. Or you can use the public domain logo and not have to worry about it.

Other than logo issues, you need to make it waterproof. Between laminating it, contact paper, using waterproof paper and so on, it might be easier to just buy it.

Fully agreed - weatherproofing it is the problem. The actual ones from the store hold up well - I've had one out for over 8 years and it still looks fine.

Here's another vote for actually purchasing one. It will hold up so much longer. Plus, you're supporting Groundspeak that way. Also, I would advise finding a few more before hiding one, but that's a topic for another thread.

And another vote for buying - we like the various sizes, and it looks more "official" should there be any questions. I don't recall them being too expensive either, which was a pleasant bonus. Yes, they are long-lasting too.

You can also find stencils if you want to paint your container with a similar logo(search the forums or google)

Yupper! UK rain/fog = useless home printed pages. Especially if you are thinking about ink-jet printers.

Check Sissy-nCR's store for a stencil that you can use again and again. The decals you buy are very shiney and detract from the camo.

Be careful lol! I don't know if its their standard practice or they ran out of mailers but I ordered a stencil from them and recieved a card in the mail, my wife opened it and was shocked to find a "To my loving Husband on our Wedding Anniversary" card inside. I got a few VERY evil looks and I was clueless until she opened it up and the stencil and an invoice was inside lol. Maybe cheap cards are cheaper than the mailers and don't require as much postage or something? We both thought it was hysterical after the fact:)
