team tisri
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, it's been a while since I haunted the forums here. Thinking of organising a cache event in SW London, specifically the Wimbledon/Kingston/Surbiton area. Just putting some feelers out to see how many might be interested. Quote Link to comment
+ClareLouise
Maybe interested, date allowing! Quote Link to comment

+kennamatic
Well, date dependent there could be up to 4 of us heading over from Richmond and Isleworth. Quote Link to comment
team tisri
One other thing I should have asked, do people have preferences (for or against) any specific days? Not sure whether to make it a Saturday with a view to giving groups chance to go off and cache, or a weekday evening so people can stop by after work. I'm leaning towards the Saturday approach but obviously it's not going to be much of an event if I'm there on my own! Quote Link to comment
Edgemaster
+1 here, from Sutton area, would prefer to avoid exam season as far as possible, but most weekends should be fine for me. Quote Link to comment
+Pharisee
Date dependant, of course and preferably within walking distance of a tube station but Yes... I'd be up for it. Quote Link to comment
Edgemaster
Heh, tube stations are rare things in this corner of london! Quote Link to comment
team tisri
Date dependant, of course and preferably within walking distance of a tube station but Yes... I'd be up for it. No tube stations in this part of town, but several train stations served from Waterloo. Quote Link to comment

team tisri
That changes things... I'm probably a no! If it helps Wimbledon is on the District line at one end, and you can pick up trains from there to Kingston, Surbiton etc Quote Link to comment
+TheMightyFinn
Ooooh, count myself and siliconwombat in! My brother (another cacher, CoolHorse) lived here for a while and we love caching here - lots of Rodz caching opportunities! Quote Link to comment
+ClareLouise
Possibly... if it's near some form train station, it's a possible! Quote Link to comment
+Madam Cholet
I'm with CurryKev...SW6 Fulham. Hey, maybe we should organise one for all of us who don't go beyond the tube line. It gets a bit scarey out there. Quote Link to comment
+Paul G0TLG
If it's a weekday evening, almost certainly I'll be there. I work in London and get the train home through this area, so it's be fairly easy for me. Quote Link to comment
+goldpot
I'll be interested...only if the event takes place north of the Thames Quote Link to comment

Edgemaster
We've had many central events, it certainly is time for one less central, and for those who cant make weekday evenings. Quote Link to comment
